MotoAmerica: Jason Madama to race with EDR Performance FZ-07 engines in Twins Cup Championship

Conquest CBD renews as title partner for team. RiderzLaw joins for 2019!

INDIAN HILLS, CO. — Jason Madama and Syndicate Racing are happy to announce EDR Performance will build and tune their FZ-07 engines for the 2019 MotoAmerica Twins Cup season.

Jason had a successful 2018 season that saw him finish a very close second in the overall championship with multiple race wins and podiums. However, the team endured some technical difficulties with its equipment, so the team decided to switch its bike’s engine and tuning needs to EDR Performance of Portland, Oregon.

EDR Performance, a long standing race shop with numerous national championships, hundreds of club championships and multiple track records, will take over effective immediately the building and tuning of the team’s FZ-07 engines to be ridden by Jason.

“I am very excited to have a shop with the reputation like EDR Performance on board for 2019,” said Madama. “Eric Dorn has built an impressive record of race-winning machines over the years and his reputation for having some of the fastest bikes plus, most importantly, reliability is going to be vital for us in 2019. Last year, I struggled with our equipment at times yet still nearly won the MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship. I really feel that this year with EDR Performance-built and -tuned engines we will really be able to showcase what we can do!”

Eric Dorn, founder of EDR Performance, said: “I’m pumped. Watching the championship last year, the Twins Cup class really excited me. I love the mostly open rules where us tuners can really push the limits. I watched Jason do extremely well – when his bikes worked last year. When he reached out to us, we hit it off immediately and shared the same vision of making a fast reliable package for him. It’s gonna be a lot of fun in one of the newest and most exciting classes in MotoAmerica.”

Jason Madama is a racer out of Indian Hills, Colorado. He finished second in the 2018 MotoAmerica Twins Cup championship. Jason is excited to have Conquest CBD and RiderzLaw on board as the team’s title sponsors for 2019.
