Jordan Szoke, the 14-time Canadian Superbike Champion, was seriously injured in a crash while riding his motocross bike May 10 at Walton Raceway, in Walton, Ontario, Canada.

“I suffered a fractured jaw, punctured neck, broken and plated right leg and shattered left ankle,” Szoke posted on his Facebook page. “I’d like to thank everyone that was there to help me: the paramedics, doctors, nurses and hospital staff. Special thanks to Brian Couture and Jacob Black for staying by my side. I’d also like to thank Canadian Kawasaki Motors for their ongoing and continued support. It’s going to be a long road to recovery, but with the help of my family, friends and fans I will be back.”
Szoke, age 43, had recently completed a two-day test on his Kawasaki ZX-10R Superbike at Grand Bend Motorplex, in Ontario, Canada, where the 2022 Canadian Superbike Championship will start June 9-12.
