BRANDON PAASCH TO RACE FIM CEV REPSOL MOTO2 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP WITH BAIKO RACING TEAM AT CIRCUIT DE VALENCIA NOVEMBER 9-10

After becoming the first American to capture a championship in the British Superbike series, Brandon Paasch is heading to Valencia this upcoming weekend to race with Baiko Racing Team on a Kalex Moto2 race bike in the final weekend of the FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship.  While this is not Brandon’s first time to Valencia racing with AGR, it will be his first time competing on a Moto2 bike.

“This is what I’ve been working so hard for over the past few years of my racing career – a race on a real Moto2 bike in one of the most competitive series in the world.  I accomplished my goal of winning an international Moto3 championship this year in BSB, and now it’s time to make my next step.

I’m really excited to be heading back to Valencia and work again with Anscari and the whole team at Baiko Racing / AGR.  They have a great program, and I can’t wait to throw my leg over the Kalex Moto2 bike and let it rip.  This will be a good test of where I am, and what I’ll need to do to get to the front on a Moto2 bike.  All the work I’ve done this year has made me a better rider and racer, and I know I’m ready to start racing in Moto2.  Hopefully, this race weekend will give me a great look at what I need to do, and then I’ll finalize my plans for 2020.”  (Brandon Paasch)

“It’s nice to have Brandon back again with the team and back at Valencia.  Congrats to him for his championship, that’s a great accomplishment to be the first American champion in British Superbike.  I’m looking forward to this weekend, and I too am excited to see what Brandon will do on the Baiko Racing Kalex Moto2.”  (Anscari Nadal, Team Owner)
