The 22nd annual Daytona 200 Monument “Gathering of Champions” will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Daytona 200 Monument. The Monument is located on the Boardwalk next to the Historic Bandshell and behind the Hilton Hotel Beachside. The address is 100 N. Atlantic Ave. The gathering is open to all.

This year’s inductees include Roger Lyle founder of “Motorcycle Xcitement,” “Hogslayer” team TC Christenson and John Gregory, lifetime motorcycle enthusiast Steven Pate, and racer and tuner Eddie Adkins. We will be installing and unveiling plaques and bricks in their honor.

Our featured guest racer this year will be the very talented Stefano Mesa. Recently Stefano has set new lap records at tracks around the country with his latest being at Daytona International Speedway last Oct 2023. He will be signing autographs and sharing his racing career with us. Noted race announcers Richard Chambers and Pat Gonsalves will have strolling microphones and will conduct crowd interviews throughout the morning.

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. will be the annual “Over The Hill Gang” breakfast at the Eagles Port Orange located at 5130 S Ridgewood Ave in Port Orange, FL. Bring your Daytona stories and join the comradery.

The Daytona 200 Monument was the dream of three-time Daytona 200 winner Dick Klamfoth and his wife Bev as a place for all motorcycle enthusiasts from all walks of life to share their memories. So please join us at this annual gathering.

Dick and Bev have passed, but my wife Cristy and I will continue to honor their dream.

Thank You for supporting the Daytona 200 Monument,

Cristy Klamfoth and Al Charles
