With a dry line forming on the damp 2.2-mile course, Gillim opted to mount some Dunlop slicks to his Real Steel Motorsports Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP and that allowed the defending Champion to rip off a 1:31.243 and claim provisional pole position.
Gillim currently holds a seven-point lead over Jayson Uribe in the Championship standings heading into this weekend’s doubleheader finale.
Danilo Lewis was the best of the rest with a 1:32.760 on his Team Brazil BMW M 1000 RR.
Jason Waters did a third-quickest 1:33.821 on his Edge Racing BMW.
Ashton Yates was fourth with a 1:33.991 on his Jones Honda.

Corey Alexander had a very successful day, staying on the top of the charts for the majority of the first qualifying session until teammate PJ Jacobsen completed a lap .2 seconds faster. Jacobsen currently sits on provisional pole.
Kayla Yaakov made great strides on her XPEL Ducati, ending the day at her home track in eighth. She is confident in her ability to improve her lap times in the second qualifying session tomorrow.
New Jersey Motorsports Park will see Qualifying 2 tomorrow morning at 9:40 a.m. ET, with the green flag waving for Race 1 at 2:10 p.m. ET.

Ryde hits the top of the times in Free Practice at Donington Park
Kyle Ryde stormed to the top of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship Free Practice times ahead of tomorrow’s opening race of the weekend at Donington Park for the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing team.
Ryde, who aims to overturn Tommy Bridewell’s six point standings lead, had set the benchmark earlier in the session and set his best time on the final lap, maintaining his edge ahead of teammate Ryan Vickers who eased Christian Iddon back into third position on the Oxford Products Racing Ducati.
Championship leader Tommy Bridewell was fourth fastest as he moved ahead of MasterMac Honda’s Charlie Nesbitt in the final minutes for Honda Racing UK whilst Danny Kent completed the top six.
Honda Racing UK’s Andrew Irwin was seventh ahead of Leon Haslam with Glenn Irwin and Lee Jackson completing the top ten. Josh Brookes and Billy McConnell held the final positions in the top 12 who automatically progress into tomorrow’s Speedy Hire Qualifying two session.

“Today has been pretty solid; we had two different track conditions. The first one there was a bit of a dry line, but wet in other places, a bit like the last race at Oulton Park really, but it was a good solid session. It highlighted a few problems for the dry and that last session was pretty good as well.
“The second session was pretty good and we did a good few laps on the SC0 tyre and the last lap was pretty solid as well, so I’m happy with that. I’m lucky to have a lot of support here and it is a big weekend! We have six points to catch up so hopefully we can do that and if not, get in front.”

After three weeks on the sidelines Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) wasted little time to reassert his position as the man to beat in WorldSBK. The Turkish rider has been out of action due to injury but topped the times in Free Practice 1 at Motorland Aragon. In the afternoon he dropped to second fastest but was just 0.004s slower than the fastest time of the day
Garrett Gerloff (Bonovo Action BMW) set the fastest time, 1’49.017, on his 34th and final lap of the day. The American has been in good form of late, registering at least one top four finish at each of the previous three rounds, but by topping the times he’ll be hoping to translate today’s speed into his first front row start of the season
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) ended the day third fastest. The championship contender sat out the first 15 minutes of action for FP1 with an electrical problem. He completed 38 laps today and ended the day 0.136s slower than Gerloff
Motorland Aragon is the longest circuit visited by WorldSBK. Resurfaced asphalt and windy conditions made it difficult for the riders in Free Practice 2. The session began with crashes for Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), Tarran Mackenzie (PETRONAS MIE Racing Honda) and Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) but Bautista remounted to set the fourth fastest time of the day as he completed 36 laps
Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Team Motocorsa Racing) was the busiest rider on the opening day of the Aragon Round. The Italian completed 40 laps at the track where he claimed his maiden WorldSBK victory in 2020 and his most recent victory last season

“It’s so nice to start the weekend like this! Aragon is a super fun track and the new asphalt has a lot more grip compared to last year. The wind was very strong but I felt really good. It’s just nice when things start to click and you go to a different track but everything feels good. At the beginning of this season we didn’t have that feeling but now it seems to be flowing a lot easier, and I’m loving it. I need a good lap in Superpole tomorrow and if we can do that we’ll be in a much better position to fight.”

“The feeling is amazing! I’ve never won at this track and this weekend I’m just trying to win. It won’t be easy because the track is tough. The grip is good on the resurfaced areas and the tyres don’t have a huge drop-off. I did a 14 lap race simulation today and physically, I feel good. Physically it’s been tough because I have not trained since the accident, but I feel good enough. I’m a little bit tired, but I think tomorrow I’ll feel much better. We need to improve the bike because it’s not turning as well as I’d like. The grip is okay, but the stopping and turning need to improve. I really want to win and that’s my target. The qualifying session is just one lap, but for me, the race is what matters. I’m fully focused on it, and I hope we’ll be fighting for the win.”

“In the morning, on the first lap of FP1, I had a small problem, but after they changed a part, everything was fine. I lost some time in FP1, but in FP2, my feeling with the bike improved a lot. My team did a great job and we made significant progress from the morning to the afternoon. The track conditions weren’t the fastest, but they were still good. I think we have the pace to be in the top three so that’s positive. We have to keep improving for tomorrow.”

“It’s been a challenging day with the strong winds. This morning was positive though as we tried the new asphalt for the first time. The grip is good but Turn 9 has some damage to the surface. In the afternoon, we compared Pirelli tyres, and I preferred the SC1 front and the new SC0 rear. This combination felt better overall. I had a small crash in Turn 9, likely due to the damaged surface, but there were no big consequences from it. I’m feeling better physically than I did in Cremona but I’m not yet at 100%. I’m confident I’ll improve as the weekend progresses.”

Kyle Ryde stormed to the top of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship Free Practice times ahead of tomorrow’s opening race of the weekend at Donington Park for the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing team.
Ryde, who aims to overturn Tommy Bridewell’s six point standings lead, had set the benchmark earlier in the session and set his best time on the final lap, maintaining his edge ahead of teammate Ryan Vickers who eased Christian Iddon back into third position on the Oxford Products Racing Ducati.
Championship leader Tommy Bridewell was fourth fastest as he moved ahead of MasterMac Honda’s Charlie Nesbitt in the final minutes for Honda Racing UK whilst Danny Kent completed the top six.
Honda Racing UK’s Andrew Irwin was seventh ahead of Leon Haslam with Glenn Irwin and Lee Jackson completing the top ten. Josh Brookes and Billy McConnell held the final positions in the top 12 who automatically progress into tomorrow’s Speedy Hire Qualifying two session.

“Today has been pretty solid; we had two different track conditions. The first one there was a bit of a dry line, but wet in other places, a bit like the last race at Oulton Park really, but it was a good solid session. It highlighted a few problems for the dry and that last session was pretty good as well.
“The second session was pretty good and we did a good few laps on the SC0 tyre and the last lap was pretty solid as well, so I’m happy with that. I’m lucky to have a lot of support here and it is a big weekend! We have six points to catch up so hopefully we can do that and if not, get in front.”
Tyler O’Hara was fastest during wet MotoAmerica Mission King Of The Baggers Free Practice One (FP1) Friday at New Jersey Motorsports Park, in Millville, New Jersey. On board his Dunlop-shod S&S Indian Challenger, O’Hara lapped the newly repaved 2.2-mile course in 1:38.925.
Defending Champion Hayden Gillim was the best of the rest with a 1:39.738 on his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Road Glide.
Gillim’s teammate Rocco Landers did a third-quickest 1:39.868.
Troy Herfoss, O’Hara’s teammate and a title contender, was fourth at 1:40.608.
Kyle Ohnsorg rounded out the top five on his RydFast Racing Indian.
Eziah Davis was quickest in MotoAmerica Stock 1000 Free Practice One (FP1) at rainy New Jersey Motorsports Park, in Millville, New Jersey. Riding a TBEX-sponsored Yamaha YZF-R1 on spec Dunlop tires, Davis covered the wet 2.2-mile course in 1:34.781.
Agustin Sierra was second-best with a 1:35.798 on his EasyHealthPlans.com/TopPro Racing BMW M 1000 RR.
Richard Kerr posted the third-fastest time, a 1:36.153, on his AMD Motorsport/RK Racing Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.
Danilo Lewis’ 1:36.847 on his Team Brazil BMW ranked him fourth.

Adrian Huertas topped World Supersport Superpole qualifying Friday afternoon at MotorLand Aragon, in Spain. Riding his Aruba.it Racing Ducati Panigale V2 on Pirelli control tires, the Spaniard lapped the 3.15-mile track in 1:52.932 to top the field of 33 riders.
Lucas Mahias was second-best with a 1:52.994 on his GMT94 Yamaha YZF-R6.
Jorge Navarro did a third-fastest 1:53.045 on his Orelac Racing Verdnatura Ducati.
Former MotoAmerica Supersport regular Valentin Debise qualified seventh with a 1:53.413 on his Evan Bros. Racing Yamaha.
Loris Baz was quickest during MotoAmerica Steel Commander Superbike Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at New Jersey Motorsports Park, in Millville, New Jersey. Riding his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R on Dunlop Sportmax Slicks, the Frenchman lapped the wet 2.2-mile track in 1:34.389.
Cameron Petersen was second-best with a 1:34.816 on his Attack Performance/Progressive Yamaha YZF-R1.
Five-time MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier did a third-fastest 1:35.334 on his Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR.
Xavi Fores, riding in place of Petersen’s injured teammate Jake Gagne, was fourth with a 1:35.750.
Beaubier’s teammate JD Beach rounded out the top five with a 1:36.056.

N2 Track Days Announce New Racing Organization – N2RA.
Media, PA – N2 Track Days, the premier track day provider on the east coast, is proud to announce a brand-new racing organization and home to the extremely successful N2 National Endurance Series – N2 Racing Association. N2RA will be the exclusive sanctioning body for the N2 Endurance Series in 2025.
“In 2017 when we started this adventure, endurance racing in America was essentially non-existent so we set out to revive it,” said N2 CEO Jim Curtis. “The first year we ran three rounds then continued to grow the National Endurance Series to be a strong, thriving series with record participation each year, an excellent purse and enthusiastic partners. For 2025 we have decided to go out on our own to continue to raise the bar, building on our eight years of experience in endurance racing. The series would not have been as successful as it has without the experience and guidance of Evelyne and Sean Clarke, the fantastic staff at WERA Motorcycle Roadracing, the amazing sponsor support and the enthusiasm of our racers.”
N2RA will hold five events in 2025 on the east coast of the United States. The three-day weekends will feature practice, qualifying, and racing. Timing and scoring will be handled using MyLaps software and transponders. Registration, rider licensing, team profiles, and purse payouts will all be handled by the new N2 mobile app coming for 2025.
“We have a fantastic team of people working in the background to develop this new series,” said N2RA Director Chris Kubricky. “We have invested in state-of-the-art timing and scoring equipment and a new rule book will be announced soon, with classes and technical specifications that align with the FIM and MotoAmerica. PJ Jacobsen led rain-affected MotoAmerica Supersport Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at New Jersey Motorsports Park, in Millville, New Jersey. Riding his Rahal Ducati Moto w/XPEL Panigale V2 on Dunlop control tires, the New York native lapped the recently repaved 2.2-mile course in 1:23.732 before a red flag and a light rain impacted the session.
Local hero Joseph LiMandri, Jr. was the best of the rest with a 1:24.625 on his Bauce Racing Yamaha YZF-R6.
Stefano Mesa did a third-fastest 1:24.704 on his Tytlers Cycle Racing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.
David Anthony was fourth with a 1:24.757 on his Wrench Motorcycles Suzuki GSX-R750, but Anthony crashed during the session causing a red flag. According to MotoAmerica officials, Anthony was not transported for medical attention.
Blake Davis rounded out the top five with a 1:24.785 on his N2 Racing/BobbleHeadMoto.com Yamaha YZF-R6.
Supersport Championship point leader Mathew Scholtz was 14th in the session with a time of 1:25.567 and said he didn’t get any clean laps before the red flag and rain.
Garrett Gerloff was fastest during World Superbike Free Practice Two (FP2) Friday afternoon at MotorLand Aragon, in Spain. Riding his Bonovo Action BMW M 1000 RR on Pirelli control tires, the American lapped the 3.15-mile course in 1:49.017 to top the field of 23 riders.
Rookie sensation Nicolo Bulega was second-best with a lap time of 1:49.153 on his Aruba.it Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R.
Alvaro Bautista, Bulega’s teammate and the two-time and defending World Champion, did a third-fastest 1:49.262.
Cremona star Danilo Petrucci was fourth with a 1:49.268 on his Barni Spark Racing Ducati.
Andrea Iannone rounded out the top five with a 1:49.542 on his Team GoEleven Ducati.
The top 15 riders in the session were covered by just 1.006 seconds.
Razgatlioglu returns as Gerloff leads a BMW 1-2 at Motorland Aragon

After three weeks on the sidelines Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) wasted little time to reassert his position as the man to beat in WorldSBK. The Turkish rider has been out of action due to injury but topped the times in Free Practice 1 at Motorland Aragon. In the afternoon he dropped to second fastest but was just 0.004s slower than the fastest time of the day
Garrett Gerloff (Bonovo Action BMW) set the fastest time, 1’49.017, on his 34th and final lap of the day. The American has been in good form of late, registering at least one top four finish at each of the previous three rounds, but by topping the times he’ll be hoping to translate today’s speed into his first front row start of the season
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) ended the day third fastest. The championship contender sat out the first 15 minutes of action for FP1 with an electrical problem. He completed 38 laps today and ended the day 0.136s slower than Gerloff
Motorland Aragon is the longest circuit visited by WorldSBK. Resurfaced asphalt and windy conditions made it difficult for the riders in Free Practice 2. The session began with crashes for Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), Tarran Mackenzie (PETRONAS MIE Racing Honda) and Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team) but Bautista remounted to set the fourth fastest time of the day as he completed 36 laps
Michael Ruben Rinaldi (Team Motocorsa Racing) was the busiest rider on the opening day of the Aragon Round. The Italian completed 40 laps at the track where he claimed his maiden WorldSBK victory in 2020 and his most recent victory last season

“It’s so nice to start the weekend like this! Aragon is a super fun track and the new asphalt has a lot more grip compared to last year. The wind was very strong but I felt really good. It’s just nice when things start to click and you go to a different track but everything feels good. At the beginning of this season we didn’t have that feeling but now it seems to be flowing a lot easier, and I’m loving it. I need a good lap in Superpole tomorrow and if we can do that we’ll be in a much better position to fight.”

“The feeling is amazing! I’ve never won at this track and this weekend I’m just trying to win. It won’t be easy because the track is tough. The grip is good on the resurfaced areas and the tyres don’t have a huge drop-off. I did a 14 lap race simulation today and physically, I feel good. Physically it’s been tough because I have not trained since the accident, but I feel good enough. I’m a little bit tired, but I think tomorrow I’ll feel much better. We need to improve the bike because it’s not turning as well as I’d like. The grip is okay, but the stopping and turning need to improve. I really want to win and that’s my target. The qualifying session is just one lap, but for me, the race is what matters. I’m fully focused on it, and I hope we’ll be fighting for the win.”

“In the morning, on the first lap of FP1, I had a small problem, but after they changed a part, everything was fine. I lost some time in FP1, but in FP2, my feeling with the bike improved a lot. My team did a great job and we made significant progress from the morning to the afternoon. The track conditions weren’t the fastest, but they were still good. I think we have the pace to be in the top three so that’s positive. We have to keep improving for tomorrow.”
P4 | Alvaro Bautista | Aruba.it Racing – Ducati
“It’s been a challenging day with the strong winds. This morning was positive though as we tried the new asphalt for the first time. The grip is good but Turn 9 has some damage to the surface. In the afternoon, we compared Pirelli tyres, and I preferred the SC1 front and the new SC0 rear. This combination felt better overall. I had a small crash in Turn 9, likely due to the damaged surface, but there were no big consequences from it. I’m feeling better physically than I did in Cremona but I’m not yet at 100%. I’m confident I’ll improve as the weekend progresses.”
