The SBK Commission has approved a new standard event schedule for WorldSBK rounds from 2026 onwards, enhancing clarity and intensity for fans both trackside and watching worldwide.

From 2026, and in most cases, Saturday and Sunday race days will follow a clear, progressive order:

WorldWCR, WorldSPB (the new Sportbike class), WorldSSP, and WorldSBK, with WorldSBK consistently closing the day as the headline race. This structure underlines the sporting hierarchy of the championship while delivering a high-intensity, high-reward show across the full programme.

The traditional WorldSBK Tissot Superpole Race retains its established late-morning slot on Sunday, preserving one of the Championship’s most recognisable and action-packed moments ahead of the full-length Race 2 contests.

The updated schedule has been developed with input from key stakeholders, and is designed to create a more intuitive and engaging flow to the race weekend.

By closing both racing days with the WorldSBK race and its podium celebrations at the Paddock Show, the new schedule allows fans to experience the sporting climax of the day at the heart of the paddock, providing a fitting culmination to the on-track action and the overall WorldSBK experience.

The standard event schedule is available below and may be adjusted at specific rounds to accommodate specific local and broadcast requirements.
