Brandon Cretu Will Race For GSM Racing For Remainder Of 2019 Endurance World Championship

In true last minute fashion, Brandon Cretu has signed with GSM Racing to compete in the remaining rounds of the 2018/2019 Endurance World Championship, with the 8-Hour of Slovakia Ring coming up just next week! He will partner alongside Andrea Tucci from Italy and Ladislav Chmelik from Czech Republic to tackle the final three 8-hour races at Slovakia, Oschersleben, and the famous Suzuka 8-Hour in Japan.

This will mark the Cretu’s third season in the Endurance World Championship after competing with Team Rabid Transit in 2016 and 2017. 2016 marked his first taste of EWC at the 8-Hour of Oschersleben in 2016 with teammate Ivan Silva, where the duo managed to secure world championship points with a top 10 finish in the EWC class.

Brandon Cretu, commented:

“This was all extremely unexpected and I was fortunate to have a friend looking out for me which helped me secure this ride. I haven’t been riding big bikes much but honestly my riding is better than it’s ever been thanks to off-season training on Ohvale’s and getting to ride with the best of the best at Colin Edwards Texas Tornado Boot Camp. Thanks to GSM for giving me this opportunity! I’m really looking forward to getting back into the EWC paddock and seeing everyone again as well as putting my best foot forward for the team.”
