WERA West Racer on Pit Pass Radio; Adds Two New Sponsors for 2015

WERA West expert, Krystyna Kubran, has been invited to contribute to Pit Pass Radio on Tuesday, Feb 10th to discuss the BuzzFeed video that is bringing motorcycle racing to pop culture.

Tune in starting at 7:00 p.m. PST!

Kubran has added two phenomenal new sponsors for 2015; Environmental Control Systems, co-founded by former Utah racer, Jasn Parkinson; and Ken Hill of KHCoaching.com.

Racing all over the US with WERA, Formula USA, MRA, WSMC, CCS and AMA, Jasn has a multitude of wins and podiums; and strong finishes against the best racers in the country. Jasn culminated his lifetime of riding and racing with five class championships with Masters of the Mountains, and an endurance title in 2010 with MoM and the WERA National Endurance Series. Shortly after, Jasn retired from racing to coach riders and launch his business, Environmental Control Systems, ECS, with business partner, Russ Kohler.

ECS specializes in commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration equipment; servicing everything from government and military facilities to restaurants and other service industry customers.

Russ and Jasn have built a multi-million dollar company that services diverse fields. From the HVAC for the F-35 flight simulation room to the local brewery’s refrigeration needs; ECS stays on top of cutting edge technology and maintains skill sets to keep older equipment operating.

“I’m excited to bring an outside industry sponsor to motorcycle racing; and Jasn has been a mentor for many years. I am proud to be able to promote his business! He shows racers can be successful entrepreneurs too!” says Kubran of her outside industry sponsor.

Ken Hill, of KHCoaching.com, is the lead instructor at Yamaha Champions Riding School, Rickdiculous Racing, and previously at the now closed down Freddie Spencer School. The northern Californian has been a force at tracks like Thunderhill, Sonoma Raceway, and Buttonwillow, recording lap records and class wins at each. Multi-time #2 Plate holder with AFM, numerous AFM class championships and top ten finishes in AMA Superbike have added to his impressive repertoire.

Ken has been instructing at a national level for over eight years and has personally coached many leading club and professional racers. In addition to coaching, Ken contributes to multiple media outlets with articles and test riding; and brings riding tips to the FasterSafer.com website and YouTube channel.

“Ken showed me a path to get better no matter where I was at with my riding. By just changing my braking technique, I dropped 2 seconds!” Kubran exclaims of her braking work with Ken.
