WERA GNF, AMA Grand Championship Are Next Weekend At Barber

48th WERA GRAND NATIONAL FINALS, WERA/N2 ENDURANCE & AMA ROAD RACE GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS  IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

Where:  Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, AL

When:  October 22-25, 2020

Participants please stage in Lot G (across from Museum) and at 4:00pm you can walk to the Credential Building to pick up your credential ($40.00 cash only) and if you need power ($25.00 per day) and camping ($25.00 per day) you can also get those taken care of there.  As soon as Porsche is done we will begin load in.  Please give the folks first in line the lead on this and follow as you arrived and are parked.

There will be early registration Wednesday night from 7pm-9pm in the bay next to Tech.  Thursday will have morning practice and then the afternoon will be the final round for the 2020 WERA/N2 Endurance Series with a big bike four hour.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday will crown Champions for the Pirelli/WERA National Challenge Series featuring the Michelin/WERA Superbike Class, the 2020 WERA Sportsman Series, the 2020 WERA National Vintage Series and we again are proud to host the 2020 AMA Road Race Grand Championship where we will find out who will receive the 2020 AMA Horizon Award for road racing!!

Spectators will be welcome on Saturday and Sunday. $30.00 for both days and $20.00 for Sunday only. Racing begins at noon both Saturday and Sunday.

Due to the pandemic social distancing masks in gathering are still required.  WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will have hand sanitizer and masks if you need one available.  We encourage you to bring your own pens and let’s have a safe paddock. Also be aware Barber Motorsports Park will have Covid protocols with waivers at the Credential Building,

WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle road racing.  The legacy of Pro riders on a National and World level is legendary.  All events are run by WERA Motorcycle Roadracing with a co-sanction by the AMA and they go coast to coast offering entry level racing with the WERA Sportsman Series as well as a Pro-Am Series with the PIRELLI/WERA National Challenge Series, WERA Motorcycle Roadracing also offers Vintage Racing and limited Endurance Racing with Track Day Partners N2.  WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was voted the 2017 AMA Track Organizer of the Year.
