COSTA MESA, CA, MAR. 26 – MotoAmerica has announced that Sunoco Racing Fuels is a supporting partner of the 2015 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship and the exclusive race-fuel supplier of the nine-race series that gets started at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, April 9-12.

Sunoco produces the 94-octane Racing Fuel, RMR, that will be used in all five of MotoAmerica’s classes – Superbike, Superstock 1000, Supersport, Superstock and the KTM RC 390 Cup – in 2015.

“We’re happy to have Sunoco as the exclusive provider of high-quality racing fuels for all five of our classes,” said MotoAmerica President and three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey.

Headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sunoco’s retail business markets its brand of gasoline through more than 5,000 retail outlets from Maine to Florida and west to Michigan and Louisiana, including more than 600 APlus convenience stores.

“Sunoco is excited to continue our support of motorcycle road racing in the U.S.,” said Terry Thompson, Senior Sales Manager, Sunoco Race Fuels. “We feel strongly that the loss of this venue would be devastating for many fans as well as the competing teams and we were very happy to see MotoAmerica pick up the torch and continue this valuable and exciting sport. Sunoco is proud to be the official fuel of MotoAmerica and we are thrilled to work with their management team as well as the riders and teams that make this sport so exciting.”
