April 1, 2010 Ransomville, NY NPS Racing Engines is proud to announce the sponsorship support of young gun racer 18 year old Attica NY resident James “the Rocket” Rispoli. In 2009, Rispoli started his season off with a debut pro class dirt track win at the Daytona short track. He continued his positive results to finish 2nd overall in the inaugural AMA Pro Singles Flattrack Championship. In addition, James rode three AMA Pro Supersport races netting two 4th place finishes racing against 26 of the fastest 16-21 year old racers in the nation. He accomplished that on two tracks he had little or no experience on; Road America and Laguna Seca. Now, on April 16-18 the kid they call “the Rocket” will debut his new NPS Racing supported GSX R600 at Road Atlanta. “I am pleased to have James back with NPS Racing this year”, stated Will O’Connor, owner of NPS Racing Engines. “James did a great job for us on a limited schedule last year and we are committed to doing whatever we can to help him do even better in 2010. Having James ride race bikes prepared by NPS Racing and run up front in such a competitive class is huge in helping us reach out to more racers across the nation. James being local to our area is a huge plus too.” “I can’t say enough about the opportunity with Will and the NPS Racing team”, stated Rispoli. “Will has been doing this a long time and wants to do whatever it takes to help me be successful in the AMA Supersport program for 2010. He has put together a great program for me and I can’t wait to represent his company and get going in a couple of weeks at Road Atlanta.” James is gearing up for another busy year where he will challenge the AMA Pro Singles Flattrack championship, WERA National Endurance championship and the AMA Pro Supersport East road racing championship.
