R.I.P. Motorcycle Industry Veteran Tad Dobbs

Longtime Motorcycle Industry Insider Tad Dobbs Passes Away

Longtime motorcycle parts and accessories expert Tad Dobbs passed away May 3 in Asheville, N.C., after a battle with cancer. He was 68.

Tad was most notable during the 1980s and 1990s as the head of purchasing for Surefire Distributing and later as a warehouse manager for Parts Unlimited in North Carolina. He had a love for Blues music and spent several years as the harmonica player for the Asheville-based Blues band Cross Eyed Cat.
