Pramac renewes its partnership with Dorna and FIM for Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup

Pramac renewes partnership with Dorna and FIM to be the technical supplier of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup.

Pramac wants to follow the footsteps of Pramac Racing Team which in recent years has achieved excellent results in the growth of talented riders as evidenced by the landing of Andrea Iannone in Ducati official after only a couple of seasons spent in MotoGP with Pramac Racing.

The Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup is an exciting new competition for 2014, which will act as a feeder series to the world of motorcycle racing. The new project aims to give riders from the Asian region a formal path into competitive road racing.

Run by Dorna, the organizers of the MotoGP™ World Championship and the eni FIM Superbike World Championship, as well as co-organizer of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, the competition will provide a spotlight for the most talented young riders in Asia.

The 22 talents who made it through the pre-selection event at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit in October 2013 will race here in Qatar, Indonesia (Sentul), China, Japan (Motegi) and Malaysia (Sepang) – either on MotoGP™ weekends or in independent events, 6 races in total that will define the new Asian riders.

PRAMAC will supply to each rider a P200I inverter that has a Limited Time runnig Power (LTP) of 1.65kW, this will allow the mechanic to give the right power to starter kit that will start the bike engine. The PRAMAC logo will be present on the on the tail of each bike.
