The Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association (OMRRA) and the Washington Motorcycle Road Racing Association (WMRRA) hosted a joint-round at Portland International Raceway in Portland, Oregon June 6-7, 2026. It was round 2 for OMRRA’s series, and round 3 for WMRRA. Saturday was a temperamental day for weather, with moments of absolute downpour and sunshine. It created a variety of track conditions that racers had to gamble on tire choices for. Sunday’s races went much smoother with better weather and great track conditions.

In the premier open classes, it was the Pinkstaff brothers Kevin and Brian battling it out against each other on their Zlock Racing Kawasaki ZX-10R’s all weekend. The reigning OMRRA/WMRRA #1 plate holder Kevin Pinkstaff has had his hands full with brother Brian this year. Brian swept all 4 races this weekend amongst Formula Ultra, Open Supersport and Open Superbike, with Kevin finishing 2nd. One of the races the brothers finished at a dead-tie across the finish-line with identical times on timing and scoring, bringing out an extremely rare rule that has only been used one other time to determine the winner of the race. The rule stated that the rider who started further back would be deemed the winner, giving the win to Brian who qualified behind Kevin on the grid. Fortunately for younger brother Brian, Kevin did not put him in a headlock after the races at the awards ceremonies. Jeremy Banner was able to snag a 3rd in Formula Ultra on Saturday, while Kevin Nanthrup took the spot Sunday behind the Pinkstaff’s.

In the 600cc category, Canada’s Oliver Jervis took 2 wins in the 600 Superbike class in both dry and wet conditions. After an engine-failure last round on his custom 500cc ZX-6R Middleweight Superbike, Zlock Racing threw a 600cc engine into the chassis so he could line up for some races. The 600 Supersport class wins were split by Ryan Champ on Saturday, and Joe Pittman on Sunday. Podium battles were heavily contested all weekend long in both classes, with Aden Sandlin, Micah Kudo and Jacob Rogers also landing on the podium.

In our Middleweight category, 3-time OMRRA #1 plate holder Andy DiBrino took 2 wins in 450 Superbike, and a 1st and 2nd in Middleweight Superbike on a belt-driven Kawasaki ZX-4RR. DiBrino said he plans to do a couple more rounds on the bike as part of a promotional project with Gates Belt-Drive. Nathan Aldrich was the only person to take down DiBrino, winning Sunday’s Middleweight Superbike race on his Aprilia RS660. After battling most of the race, Aldrich was able to find an extra gear and create a gap in the final laps to secure the victory. Aldrich also won the Middleweight GP on Sunday, with Ryan Floer claiming the class win on Saturday. Hannah Johnson showed some speed by claiming a few podiums as she continues to adapt to her new Aprilia RS660.

Moving into our small bike classes, Alex Taylor was the class of the field once the dry weather came, with wins both days in Ultra-Lightweight GP and a win Sunday in Ultra-Lightweight Supersport on his Gray Area KTM RC390. Sean O’Banion took Saturday’s inclement weathered race win in Ultra-Lightweight Supersport also on a Gray Area KTM RC390. The Ultra-Lightweight classes continue to have the largest grids in the club.

The 600 Amateur races were both won by Tyler Benton, while Open Amateur was split between Michael Macias and Kyle Nesbitt. In our Novice category, Jonathan Spiva took 2 wins in Novice 1000. Novice 600 wins were split by Steve Schock and Ryan Floer.

The next round for both clubs takes place in Washington on June 19-21 at The Ridge Motorsports Park.
