Celtic Racing is pleased to reveal that Orient Express has joined the team as a sponsor for 2008 and will bring both technical expertise as well as top quality racing components to the program. This partnership will assist the team greatly, having direct benefit to Celtic Racing’s pilot PJ Jacobsen. New this year, Jacobsen received aggressive support from Honda Riders of America, gaining two CBR 600 machines. He is slated to run at selected events. Orient Express will provide comprehensive technical support and tuning for these machines, full titanium TiForce exhaust systems, adjustable Sato Racing rearset controls, and engine electronics from Dynojet Power Commander. “Orient Express is very excited to be involved with Celtic Racing and PJ Jacobsen for the 2008 racing season. We are eager to expand our involvement with all types of racing — Celtic Racing provides a great opportunity for Orient Express! We would like to congratulate both PJ Jacobsen and Celtic Racing on all their success and hard work so far! We look forward to great results in 2008!” Celtic Racing provides a venue in which to showcase the talent of “up and coming” riders from the U.S. and abroad in the AMA series. They also firmly believe in supporting young riders entering the sport and run a full USGPRU schedule in order to aid these young talents on their journey to the pro ranks. Jacobsen joined the team at age twelve and excelled. By the close of his first year, he earned the USGPRU 125cc championship. To date, his accomplishments continue to grow which will be beneficial when he enters the AMA professional level series. Orient Express has over 35 years of racing experience. Established in 1973, Orient Express is known worldwide as a distributor of the finest high performance engine components and motorcycle accessories. They also provide full service in engine building, machine work, and race bike preparation services across a wide range of competition classes, from AMA Dragbike to AMA Superbike and beyond.
