New Sponsor For The Yamaha MotoGP Team Specializes In Trick Clutches

Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd has signed a one year deal with Japanese drive-train components manufacturer EXEDY Corporation, which will see the company become an Official Sponsor of the Fiat Yamaha Team. EXEDY Corporation will also supply all clutches and related parts for the M1s of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Statement from EXEDY Corporation: EXEDY Corporation will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2010 and for those years it has been a comprehensive manufacturer of drive-train components such as manual clutches, torque converters, automatic transmissions and motorcycle clutches. From 2009, EXEDY Corporation will begin a night and day effort to win the MotoGP World Championship in cooperation with Yamaha Motor Co. by providing clutches with state-of-the-art technology to the Fiat Yamaha Team.
