The N2RA KYT Americas 6-Hours of VIR Delivers One of the Best Values in American Motorcycle Road Racing.
Media, PA – July 2026 – Whether your goal is to race for the richest endurance purse in American history, sharpen your skills before MotoAmerica arrives at Virginia International Raceway, or simply spend an unforgettable weekend riding motorcycles with your friends, the N2RA KYT Americas 6-Hours of VIR delivers an incredible amount of track time, competition, and value.
Held August 7–9 at Virginia International Raceway, the event combines practice, qualifying, sprint endurance racing, and America’s richest motorcycle endurance race into one action-packed weekend.
Unlike a traditional race weekend where competitors may only spend a handful of laps on track, the N2RA format is designed to maximize your time on the motorcycle. Riders have the opportunity to accumulate more than 10 hours of on-track activity over three days, making this one of the best values in American motorcycle road racing.
For club racers, that’s exceptional value.
For MotoAmerica teams preparing for the following weekend at VIR, it’s the perfect opportunity to test motorcycles, riders, strategy, tire management, pit stops, and team communication under real race conditions.
- Three Days of Riding
The weekend begins Wednesday and Thursday with Yamaha Champions Riding School. Thursday evening as the paddock comes alive with gates opening, registration, and technical inspection, giving teams the opportunity to get settled before the action begins.
Friday is dedicated to preparation. Riders (Novice, Intermediate, and Racers) receive a full day of practice with six 20-minute sessions. It’s a full day to learn the track, dial in the motorcycle, develop rider consistency, and refine pit procedures before qualifying begins.
Saturday transitions into race mode. Morning 30-minute practice and 30-minute qualifying sessions determine the starting grids before an afternoon packed with competition, including the 30-minute Lightsport, Supersport, Superbike Endurance, and the Alpha Omega 2-Hour Endurance Race. The day concludes with the always-entertaining Pit Stop Challenge, where fast, efficient teamwork takes center stage.
Sunday is Championship Sunday. Following final practice and last-chance qualifying races, the Ultra Lightweight Endurance 30 leads into the marquee event—the KYT Americas 6-Hours of VIR. Six hours of strategy, consistency, rider changes, tire management, and teamwork will determine who stands atop the podium at one of the premier motorcycle racing facilities in North America. Awards follow immediately after the checkered flag.
- More Than Just a Race
Endurance racing has always been about far more than outright speed.
The fastest lap rarely wins a six-hour race. Consistency does. Teamwork does. Smart strategy, clean pit stops, disciplined riding, and six hours of executing the fundamentals are what separate great teams from everyone else.
Whether you’re racing with longtime teammates or assembling your first endurance squad, there’s simply nothing else in motorcycle racing that builds friendships quite like endurance competition.
- Race for America’s Richest Endurance Purse
The KYT Americas 6-Hours of VIR will feature more than $62,000 in combined cash payouts, contingency, and bonus awards, making it the richest single endurance motorcycle race in United States history. Teams competing in Superbike, Supersport, Lightsport, and the Alpha Omega 2-Hour Ultralight Endurance will compete for substantial cash prizes while enjoying one of North America’s premier road racing circuits.
Whether you’re an ASRA regular, a WERA veteran, a MotoAmerica professional, or simply looking for the most riding you’ll get all season, the N2RA 6-Hours of VIR offers an unmatched combination of track time, competition, camaraderie, and value.
Build your team.
Bring your friends.
Come race.
