According to MotoWest GP and MotoYard Track Days owner Greg Nulman, Race Director John Cagle, age 50, died in a fiery car accident early Sunday morning, while en-route from his home in Las Vegas to a MotoYard event at Willow Springs Raceway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, motorists reported a car on fire in the center divider of Interstate 15 at 5:23 a.m., in Mountain Pass. Nulman said that first responders found the vehicle fully engulfed, and that Cagle was in the car.
