Tuned Racing announces plans for 2019 with new partnerships

Bakersfield, CA – March 2019 – Tuned Racing is excited to announce its plans for the 2019 racing season. Tuned Racing will be competing in the MotoAmerica National series in the Supersport class Championship. Tuned Racing will field the 2016 SuperStock 600 Champion Bryce Prince on a Tuned Industries Yamaha YZF-R6.

The goal of Tuned Racing is to go after that top step and win the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. To achieve this goal Tuned Racing is proud to announce new partnerships with two incredible companies.

Yamaha Champions Riding School

The team will be teaming with Champions Riding School to not only make us faster on the race track but also safer riders. Yamaha Champions Riding School, LLC is a high-performance motorcycle riding school teaching Champions Habits developed at the world championship level of motorcycle racing. ChampSchool is based in Millville, NJ with facilities in Willcox, AZ and a business center in San Diego, Ca.

“Our heart is in racing and we jumped at this chance to team with Tuned,” said Champ School’s Nick Ienatsch. “Bryce is a graduate and one of the most gifted riders in America, including an amazing amount of bike building and setup knowledge. Not only do we want to back kids like this, we want to support Mike Pond and his professional and aggressive team. Winning championships takes a complete package and Tuned knows how to get results. Let’s go racin’.”

Apex Assassins Track Days

Partnering with the Tuned Racing’s team this year is Apex Assassins Track Days. Apex is a premier Las Vegas-based motorcycle track day organization, operating at Willow Springs International Raceway, Big Willow, Streets of Willow, Chuckwalla and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“We are excited about our recent partnership with Tuned Racing for 2019. This season is shaping up to be the most exciting in recent years. It has been a pleasure working with a team that shares the same passion and enthusiasm not only for the sport but the motorcycle community as well. We look forward to providing Bryce and the talented group of people at Tuned Racing with track time for testing and practice before, during and after this season,” Richard Findlay, Apex Assassins President.

“After having an incredible end to the 2018 season, I couldn’t wait to be back on a bike! As the off season began to end I still found myself without many options to go racing this year. I was saddened, but didn’t quit. Both Mike Pond and myself worked very diligently to make this happen. We really put a lot into it and its going to be an awesome year. The last time I was with Tuned Racing we won the championship. I feel that I am at the peak of my performance and I only continue to grow. The Supersport class is full of a lot of talented riders and I plan to be up there with them. I want to give special thanks to Champ School, Apex Assassins, and my dedicated crew Louis and Chris who will be returning with me again in 2019,” said Bryce Prince

“I am excited for the team we have put together for this year and having Bryce home. The partnerships we have built will be the extra push we need to put us on the top. Yamaha Champions Riding School has a reputation for producing the best riders out there and will help guide us with the habits on and off of the race track to take Bryce to another championship. Apex Assassins is a great track day company made up of racers with a real love of the sport. I look forward to growing our relationships with both of them,” said Mike Pond, CEO at Tuned Racing.

“It’s a dream come true!”

Having Bryce “The Prince” Prince back on a Tuned Racing Yamaha R6…

“I’d Like to personally thank all the partners who decided to help make this effort come true. I’ve seen Bryce grow up… From a pimply faced teen racing 125’s at Willow Springs into a bright star who already has one MotoAmerica Championship under his belt. Bryce’s work ethic is second to none!” said trackside team manager Alex Eisner
