MotoAmerica Superbike racer Bradley Ward suffered a dislocation and bone fractures in his right wrist and a broken right femur when he crashed his FLY Racing ADR Motorsports Kawasaki ZX-10RR during HONOS Superbike Race Two on Sunday, September 13 at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Ward, a native of England now living in America, was airlifted to Cooper Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey, where he underwent surgery on his femur on Monday and surgery on his wrist today.

“With a little bit of advice and input from Dr. [Thomas] Bryan, we were comfortable getting the procedure done here at Cooper Medical Center,” Ward wrote in a message to Roadracingworld.com Wednesday. “Hopefully, I should be out of the hospital by the end of the weekend.”

Ward was 10th in the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship at the time of his crash.
