Macau Grand Prix: Motorcycles Returning To Street Race In November

69th Macau Grand Prix Confirmed for November 17 to 20

Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix returns to Guia Circuit as part of seven-race programme

Macao Special Administrative Region of China, October 17, 2022: The four-day 69th Macau Grand Prix will be held from November 17 to 20, with the seven-race programme seeing the return of the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix to the 6.2km Guia Circuit for the 54th running of the race.

The line-up for the 2022 event was announced by the Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee at a press conference today (October 17), and includes headline races for junior single seaters, GTs, motorcycles and touring cars, plus three support races.

The provisional race programme comprises: Sands China Formula 4 Macau Grand Prix; Galaxy Entertainment Macau GT Cup; Wynn Macau Guia Race; the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix – 54th Edition; MGM Macau Touring Car Cup; Melco Greater Bay Area GT Cup; and SJM Macau Roadsport Challenge.

Entries will be announced in due course.

Tickets for this year’s Macau Grand Prix will go on sale from October 18. Ticket prices remain unchanged. Tickets for November 17 and 18 are MOP 50 (USD6.50), while prices for November 19 and 20 range from MOP 400 (USD52) to MOP 1,000 (USD128), depending on the stand. Tickets are available via sales outlets in Macao, Hong Kong and the Mainland, as well as online, telephone and mobile app sales channels (details available on the official website www.macau.grandprix.gov.mo)

The four-day Macau Grand Prix will be preceded by a number of events for both residents and visitors, including a Macau Grand Prix – Family Carnival and Car show, both of which are free of charge, with numerous Grand Prix-themed activities held throughout the city in the run up to the races.

All four days of the Grand Prix will be live-streamed via the official Macau Grand Prix Facebook page and website.

In order to ensure that the Grand Prix is held under safe conditions, strict epidemic prevention measures will be implemented during the event. Organizers will closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and make arrangements for epidemic prevention in a timely manner in accordance with the relevant guidelines issued by the Macao health authorities.
