Featured In the August 2019 Issue of Roadracing World:

Attack Performance/Estenson Racing Yamaha’s J.D. Beach
did double duty at Laguna Seca, racing one YZF-R1 on Pirellis in World
Superbike and a second YZF-R1 on Dunlops in MotoAmerica Superbike.

Thanks to a last-minute private test at Buttonwillow
Raceway Park to get acclimated to Pirelli tires and start working on a chassis
set-up, Beach did relatively well early in the weekend at Laguna Seca. Beach
went faster in each World Superbike session …

J.D. Beach
isn’t shy about putting in racing miles, racing a Superbike in MotoAmerica and
also chasing flat-track glory in 2019. But Laguna Seca was another step
entirely: Practice and qualifying for MotoAmerica and World Superbike, then
five races over two days! See how the young American’s ironman adventure turned
out – all the details are in the August issue of Roadracing World!
