FMRRA Racing At Jennings GP This Coming Weekend

RACING RETURNS TO JENNINGSGP WITH ROUND 4 OF THE FMRRA INAUGURAL SEASON

Racing returns to JenningsGP in Jennings, Florida, this weekend! The Florida Motorcycle Road Racing Association (FMRRA) will hold its first ever event at JenningsGP on May 7 and 8, 2016, Round 4 of its 2016 Inaugural Season.

The event kicks off at 8:30 am ET on Saturday with two 15-minute practice sessions for each of 4 groups of riders segmented by class. Ten-minute qualifying sessions will then begin at 10:30 am. At 11:50 am, the riders break for lunch and attend a riders’ meeting. The 20-minute Mini Endurance races begin at 12:30 pm for these 6 groups: 1) SuperStock 600; 2) SuperStreet 300, SuperStreet 250, and Moto 3; 3) SuperStock 1000; 4) Sunoco Superbike 600; 5) Formula Twins and Production Twins; and 6) Sunoco Superbike 1000.

Following the Mini Endurance races on Saturday, nine 6-lap Sprint races will be held for these classes: 1) SuperStreet 300, SuperStreet 250, and Moto 3; 2) SuperStock 1000; 3) Formula 40 600; 4) Formula Twins and Production Twins; 5) Formula 40 1000; 6) SuperStock 600; 7) Formula 50 1000; 8) Sunoco Superbike 600; and 9) Sunoco SuperBike 1000.

On Sunday at 9 am ET, four groups will each have a 10-minute practice session. Qualifying sessions of 10 minutes per group will follow. Then, at 10:20 am, the 6-lap Sprint races will be held for these 6 groups: 1) SuperStock 600; 2) Formula Twins and Production Twins; 3) SuperStock 1000; 4) Sunoco Superbike 600; 5) SuperStreet 300, SuperStreet 250, and Moto 3; and 6) Sunoco Superbike 1000.

At 11:40 am on Sunday, the riders will have a 30-minute lunch break followed by a riders’ meeting. The 12-lap feature races begin at 12:20 pm in these 6 classes: 1) SuperStock 600; 2) Formula Twins and Production Twins; 3) SuperStock 1000; 4) Sunoco Superbike 600; 5) SuperStreet 300, SuperStreet 250, and Moto 3; and 6) Sunoco Superbike 1000.

If the first 3 rounds of the season held at Palm Beach International Raceway were any indication, we are in for a great turnout of riders this weekend in northern Florida,” noted FMRRA founder Tony West. “And we’re expecting perfect weather in Jennings so come out and join us!”

The gate entry fee for both spectators and riders is $20 per guest, for the 2-day event. Entry is free for children ages 11 and under. Gates open at 6 am each day.
