Cornerspeed®, the official motorcycle school of VIR, are proud to announce their partnership with Bridgestone tires for this season. With Bridgestone’s investment and involvement in MotoGP R&D combined with its recent signing of a three year contract with Dorna as the official tire supplier for MotoGP, Cornerspeed believes this partnership will bring great value and quality to all U.S. riders. Cornerspeed’s CEO and chief instructor, Aaron Stevenson said, “We are happy to be partnered with such a prestigious brand. With Bridgestone’s investment in MotoGP tire development, the DOT race tires are improving exponentially compared to other brands. I’m impressed with what I’ve seen so far and I am eager for warm weather so we can turn some hot laps.” He went on to say, “I think that the riders that will benefit the most from Bridgestone’s MotoGP involvement are the domestic racers here in the U.S. that compete in series like WERA and CCS-ASRA. I think we will see more and more riders switching to Bridgestone and getting onto the podium in all classes.” Bridgestone’s Senior Manager of U.S. and Canada tire sales Bob Graham commented, “Bridgestone brand tires have seen a great deal of recent success in the MotoGP World Championship, so we are very excited about our new relationship with the Cornerspeed riding schools. This program will give amateur racers and enthusiast riders the opportunity to experience the Bridgestone brand’s high-performance products on the race track.” In addition to representing the Bridgestone brand, Cornerspeed will offer trackside tire service at all Cornerspeed events exclusively selling Bridgestone tires. Cornerspeed’s advanced training school, “Cornerspin™: Road Racing In The Dirt”, will feature Bridgestone tires on all their Cornerspin bikes.
