ASRA/CCS Cancels April 4-5 Event At Carolina Motorsports Park

ASRA/CCS Event at Carolina Motorsports Park Cancelled Due to State of South Carolina COVID-19 Restrictions

ASRA/CCS in conjunction with CMP management have made the difficult decision to cancel the April event at the facility.

“We both agreed without a concrete date for the end of these State restrictions in crowd size (gatherings larger than 100 people are prohibited by the State of SC), it would not be fair to our racers, their families and crews to keep everyone in limbo regarding this race. So we regrettably are forced to announce this cancellation,” said ASRA/CCS President Kevin Elliott

Initial attempts to reschedule at CMP were thwarted by the planned re-pave of the 2.27 mile road course and with the only open date left the same weekend as the Race of Champions. ASRA/CCS is exploring other venues to host the event later in the season. Pre-entered riders will be refunded or transferred to an event of their choice later in the ASRA/CCS season.
