Oceanside, CA – June 23, 2026 – With one half of the Dynamic Dreher Duo out of action due to Ella’s ongoing recovery from injuries suffered in an unfortunate racing incident at Barber Motorsports Park, MP13 Racing team owner Melissa Paris has enlisted Joseph LiMandri Jr. to fill in for Ella this weekend at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington. LiMandri Jr. will race alongside Avery Dreher as both riders compete in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship aboard the team’s pair of MV Agusta F3 RR machines.
LiMandri Jr. recently tested an MV Agusta F3 RR at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Also, this past weekend, the New Yorker qualified fifth for the 103rd running of the Loudon Classic in New Hampshire, and he finished fourth in Saturday’s 21-lap race.
With confidence bolstered by his great result in the Granite State, LiMandri Jr. is looking forward to returning to MotoAmerica and filling in for Ella Dreher on Paris’s team.
“First and foremost, I want to wish Ella a speedy recovery,” LiMandri Jr. said. “It’s never the way you want an opportunity to come about, but I’m thankful to Melissa and MP13 Racing for their confidence in me. I’m excited for the opportunity to step in and represent the team while Ella is recovering. I’ve been working hard to stay fit and be prepared for when an opportunity arises. I’m ready to get on the bike, work with the team, and help move the MP13 race program forward.”
During his MotoAmerica career, LiMandri Jr. has competed in Junior Cup, Twins Cup, and Supersport, and he’s also raced in the DAYTONA 200 for the past two years. Affectionately known as “Bazooka Joe” to his fans, LiMandri Jr. has traditionally raced with competition number 64, but for Ridge, his MP13 Racing MV Agusta F3 RR will carry the number 641.
Commenting on LiMandri Jr. joining the team as a fill-in rider for Ella Dreher, Paris said, “Obviously we wish we weren’t having to shop for a fill-in rider, but, when we found ourselves in this position, Joe’s name kept coming up. We have all seen the results he is capable of delivering. We are really excited to see what he can do aboard our MV Agusta F3 RR.”
LiMandri Jr. and his MP13 Racing teammate Avery Dreher (#47) will take to the track this Friday at Ridge starting with Supersport Practice 1 at 10:15 a.m. PT. Supersport Qualifying 1 is also on Friday at 1:45 p.m. PT. Qualifying 2 will commence on Saturday at 10:25 a.m. PT, and Race 1 will go green at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday. Race 2 is on Sunday at 1:15 p.m. PT.
