American Joshua Raymond Jr. earned strong P8 and P7 results to showcase his determination, race craft, and growing confidence during an intense CIV Moto3 weekend at the iconic Imola circuit.

Under the pressure and intensity of one of Italy’s most demanding venues, Raymond Jr. delivered another statement of progress in the CIV Moto3 Championship across a fiercely contested weekend at Imola.

With packed grandstands, relentless competition, and little room for error around the historic circuit, Raymond Jr. showed maturity beyond his years, combining controlled aggression with smart race management to convert pace into points and continue building momentum in the championship.

From the opening laps, Joshua demonstrated strong race craft in dense midfield battles, maintaining composure through changing race dynamics and staying consistently inside the fight for higher positions. Every lap became an opportunity to learn, adapt, and push forward.

Race One saw Joshua fight through challenging moments to bring home an important P8 finish, laying the foundation for an even stronger second outing. In Race Two, the clutch was gone, but he still capitalized on lessons learned across the weekend, showing improved rhythm and confidence to climb to P7 and finish the Imola round on a positive trajectory.

Joshua Raymond Jr. said: “Imola was a really important weekend for us. The team made great progress with the bike setup.  We showed good pace, stayed competitive across both races, and I felt stronger and more comfortable every session. Race One gave us a lot of information and I was able to use that in Race Two to improve and come away with P7. There are still areas to work on, but we’re moving in the right direction and I’m happy with the progress we’re making. Huge thanks to the team, my supporters, and everyone behind me—we’ll keep pushing.”

Lucky Racing Owner Andrea Raimondi said: “This weekend was another positive step forward for Joshua. Imola demands precision, confidence, and consistency, and he delivered all three across all sessions with incremental and solid growth in speed and in confidence. What stood out wasn’t only the results—it was the way he managed the races, made smart decisions, and continued improving throughout the weekend. P8 and P7 are encouraging outcomes, but more importantly, we leave with valuable data, increased confidence, and clear momentum heading into the next round.”

As the CIV Moto3 season continues, Joshua Raymond Jr. leaves Imola with points, experience, and belief—ready to turn progress into even stronger results in the races ahead.
