Maria Herrera was fastest during FIM World Women’s Circuit Racing Free Practice Friday morning at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, in San Marino. Riding her Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha YZF-R7 on Pirelli control tires, Herrera covered the 2.63-mile (4.23 km)  road course in 1:49.256, topping the field of 26 riders.

Josephine Bruno was the runner-up on her Team Trasimeno Yamaha YZF-R7 with a time of 1:49.745, and Roberta Ponziani got third on her Klint Racing Team Yamaha YZF-R7 with a lap time of 1:50.012. 

American Mallory Dobbs got 21st on her YVS Sabadell Diva Racing Yamaha YZF-R7 with a lap time of 1:53.300.
