Tuned Racing completes first test of 2014 and sets 600cc track record at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway

Tuned Racing welcomed Jason Aguilar to the team two weeks ago to campaign the AMA Pro Supersport championship, alongside Bryce Prince in AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike. Throughout the weekend the entire team worked hard on bike setup, testing new Dunlop spec tires, and new electronics that meet the 2014 AMA Pro Racing rulebook changes.

By the end of the weekend, both Prince and Aguilar had made many positive changes to put them up front. Aguilar fought hard for a podium position in both races on Sunday, and improved his personal best lap time by over one second. Prince, aboard his Tuned Racing Graves Yamaha R6, broke the Chuckwalla CCW 600cc track record twice that weekend, ultimately setting the fastest lap with a 1:46.338. Prince has now set the record pace for Chuckwalla in both directions. Prince stated “I have been working hard to get a great package with Tuned Racing, and our development with Graves Motorsports and Dunlop has helped to put us up front. I am ready for Daytona.”

Jason Aguilar was happy to say “I had a great first weekend testing with my new team. We tested many different setups, and by the end of the weekend we found one that worked better for me, and I was able to set a personal best lap time of a 1:49.1. I want to thank my new team, Tuned Racing, for a great first test. I also want to thank Dunlop tires for keeping the bike hooked up, as well as Tige and Chris from Cyclemall for helping me test some new electronics.
