MotoGP: Zarco Under Race Lap Record In P1 At Red Bull Ring

Johann Zarco led FIM MotoGP World Championship Practice One (P1) Friday morning at Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg, Austria. Riding his Prima Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici, the Frenchman turned a 1:29.838 on the 2.7-mile (4.3 km) track, which was quicker than Jorge Martin’s 2022 Race Lap Record of 1:29.854.

Fabio Quartararo made it a 1-2 for France with a second-best time of 1:30.237 on his Monster Energy Yamaha YZR-M1.

Maverick Vinales rounded out the top three with a 1:30.249 on his factory Aprilia RS-GP.

Just 1.018 seconds covered the top 18 riders in P1.
