Moto2: Chantra Charges To The Top In P1 At Red Bull Ring

Somkiat Chantra charged to the top of the order in FIM Moto2 World Championship Practice One (P1) Friday morning at the Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg, Austria. On board his Idemitsu Honda Team Asia Kalex, the Thai rider did a 1:34.160, which was just short of the Race Lap Record, 1:34.073, and good enough to lead the field of 30 entries.

American Joe Roberts was 15th with a time of 1:35.390 on his Italtrans Racing Kalex.

American Sean Dylan Kelly (SDK) is not riding in Austria as he is still recovering from arm surgery, according to his American Racing Team.
