Ninth Pirelli bounty claimed at the MCRA race event in Kentucky; motorcycle track record drops dramatically

Rome, Georgia (USA) – Another Pirelli “bounty” newbie, Dustin Boyd, has claimed his first Pirelli bounty at the National Corvette Museum (NCM) Motorsports Park during the MCRA races on October 17th. Riding his Farrell Performance Kawasaki ZX-10R fitted with Pirelli Superbike SC1 front & SC1 rear slicks, Dustin destroyed the previous motorcycle record and lowered it from a 1:57.153 to a 1:54.549 during the MCRA Expert/Amateur GT race.

“As the year winds down, the track records keep coming, and we have one more bounty available for 2015. We thank all of the Pirelli riders for these results so far this year, and clearly the Pirelli model of selling the same tires as used in the WSBK championship proves that the concept works!” stated Jeff Johnston, Pirelli North America’s Roadrace Manager.

A collaboration between Pirelli Tire North America and Pirelli Roadracing vendors, the “bounty” is a $500 Pirelli tire voucher offered to riders who set a new absolute motorcycle track record on Pirelli tires during a 2015 Race Sanctioned Event*.

* Additional terms and conditions may apply with respect to the use of the tire voucher.
