Young Damian Jigalov kicks off WERA Championship with a clean sweep

Eleven-year-old Damian Jigalov, from Illinois, has begun his 2016 WERA campaign in the best possible way, with a clean sweep in the opening round of the WERA Sportsman series February 20-21 at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway, winning all six races entered. Damian, aboard his KTM RC390, was pitched against some MotoAmerica KTM Cup racers and despite some early nerves, he was able to concentrate on the job at hand as the lights went out and took first place in the E Superstock, Clubman, and Grom classes on both Saturday and Sunday.

This is the perfect start for Damian, who aspires to win the WERA Championship in E Superstock and Clubman class in all the regions in 2016.

Damian has support from a great team of sponsors including, Dainese / AGV, Woodstock KTM, Apex Manufacturing, Sportbikes Track Time, Sportbikes Tire Service, Sportbikes4hire.com, Cucci Ford, Lionize Delivery Solutions and Motion Pro. In addition, Damian is assisted by Shift Human Performance to ensure he is physically fit and has all his nutritional needs at the track.
