ADR Motorsports returns to the Premier class for the 2017 MotoAmerica Championship

ADR Motorsports, operating under the team name “Fly Street, Motul, ADR Motorsports”, will be contesting the Superbike and Superstock 1000 classes for the 2017 MotoAmerica Championship.

Returning to the team this year is Team Owner and rider, David “Aussie Dave” Anthony. He will be riding the #25 Kawasaki ZX-10R in the Motul MotoAmerica Superbike class. After a number of seasons riding different classes with different teams, Anthony is back under the ADR Motorsports banner competing in Superbike where he has spent most of his racing career. It doesn’t stop there for Anthony as he is also acting as team principal for the newly revamped ADR Motorsports program.

Joining David will be South African Cameron Petersen. Petersen will contest the Superstock 1000 class aboard an ADR Motorsports-prepared Kawasaki ZX-10R. Petersen has spent the last two MotoAmerica seasons competing in the 600 class with a number of podiums. Although Petersen has no previous 1000cc race experience, it is expected he will have no trouble adapting and challenging the leaders for the top spot on the podium when the green flag drops.

Fly Street Motul ADR Motorsports has been busy over the off season putting the newly-revamped program together along with developing the Kawasaki ZX-10Rs for the new rules package that MotoAmerica has put in place for both the Superbike and Superstock classes. The teams “New Look” will be revealed during the MotoAmerica livery reveal on Monday March 27th and the following day will take to the track for the official test at Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas.

David Anthony had this to say,” It has been a long five months putting this program together and we have been able to assemble the crew and equipment to make it a successful year. I have spent the last two seasons riding for different teams and have taken what I’ve learned and applied it to the program for 2017. We are very excited to get the season started as we have done our homework and we are ready to go racing”.

From Cameron Petersen,” The deal with ADR Motorsports come about late into the off season. Prior to that I was doing the normal pre-season training making sure I was ready to go. Once the deal was done it allowed me to really focus as I knew exactly what my racing plans were going to be. I am really looking forward to racing the ADR Motorsports ZX-10R for this season. It will certainly be a steep learning curve going to the liter bike, but I’m ready for the challenge”.

ADR Motorsports would not be able to go racing without the support of its great partners, Fly Street, Motul oils, Western Powersports, Evol Technologies, Temecula Valley Paint, MK Motorsports.
