Marc Marquez won in
Catalunya and at the Sachsenring as his competitors crashed, faltered or got
taken out, and stormed into the summer break with a firm grip on the 2019
MotoGP World Championship

Featured In the August 2019 Issue of Roadracing World:

The chase for the 2019 MotoGP Championship took a bizarre
turn of events at Catalunya, where Repsol Honda’s Jorge Lorenzo crashed and
took down the entire factory Yamaha team as well as Ducati’s Andrea Dovisioso.

That left Championship leader Marc Marquez well clear of the
pack, and Marquez used the opportunity to test new parts for his RC213V and to
gamble when his competitors chose to play it safe.

That left Marquez not only with wins in Spain and in Germany
– where he took his 10th straight win at the Sachsenring – but also with
valuable experience in developing the Honda for the rest of the 2019 title
chase.

Read how Marquez is taking advantage of his massive points
lead to hone his racer into an even more lethal weapon for 2019 and beyond.
