CMRA 5th Annual Dane Westby Classic at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit This Weekend

This coming weekend, May 17-19, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) hosts its third round of the 2019 race season at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Hallett, Oklahoma. The track is located just 40 minutes west of Tulsa on Hwy 412 (Cimarron Turnpike).

It will be our honor to welcome the Westby Family to our event this weekend.

Friday’s activities include the CMRA Racer Licensing School, Track Experience, and an all-day racer practice. Registration and Tech open for all activities at 6:30 a.m. The full weekend’s event schedule can be found here:

Saturday’s schedule includes Mini, Ultra-Lightweight, and Championship Sprint races, the second round of the Ultra-Lightweight Endurance Series, and Solo 30 sprint race. The day concludes with the trophy presentation and a BBQ dinner so graciously provided by Tryg Westby and Westby Racing.

Sunday’s schedule begins at 11:05am with a full slate of exciting racing. The Legends Race – Formula 40 HW Expert Round 1 by The Realtime Group/Shakespeare with a cash purse of $300 – 1st, $200 – 2nd, $150 – 3rd, $125 – 4th, and $100 – 5th will run in the afternoon, along with the TX Toy Sales – C Superbike Expert in the morning paying out $75 – 1st, $50 – 2nd, $25 – 3rd. The Jennifer Millsap Foundation “Fight Like A Girl” award is also on this weekend, with $250 going to the expert or novice racer with the most accumulated points in the overall championship classes. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break, schedule and weather permitting.

Gates open each day at 6:00 a.m. and we race rain or shine! Weekend tickets to the event are only $20 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and just $15 on Sunday. Kids 12 and younger are free. There is a $5 wristband refund for participants leaving Saturday night – turn in your wristband at the gate as you leave. Tickets are good for the entire weekend. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday!

Please note that NO PETS are allowed at any of the CMRA race events.
