Kyle Wyman Racing partners with Speed Demon Motorcycles for 2018 MotoAmerica Superbike Campaign

TUCSON, Ariz. (Feb. 21) — Kyle Wyman Racing (KWR) has partnered with Speed Demon Motorcycles to contest the 2018 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship. After a successful end of season in 2017, Kyle Wyman will work again with crew chief Gary Dean to challenge for the premier class title.

Dean joined KWR mid-way through the 2017 season, and the duo swiftly found their way to the Superbike podium toward the end of the year at New Jersey Motorsports Park with Wyman’s 2nd place finish. For 2018 Dean will prepare Yamaha YZF-R1 Superbikes for KWR at his Canyon Country, Calif. shop – Speed Demon Motorcycles.

“I’m excited to be working with Gary again this year,” Wyman said. “We were fortunate to scoop him up at the mid-point of 2017 and it was immediately clear to me that we are on the same page. Gary brings with him a level of experience and professionalism that allows me to focus on my own preparation as a rider. This is key to the success of my program, as I also carry the duties of team ownership. Most importantly, Gary and I share an unrelenting desire to win. I’m looking forward to a full season with his commitment to KWR.”

“I’m very happy to be a part of the KWR team for the 2018 Superbike championship,” said Gary Dean, Owner of Speed Demon Motorcycles. “I was fortunate to become a part of the team late last season and we were able to secure a podium at New Jersey near the end of the year. His 2018 Superbike is in production and we anticipate having a fast beast to come back with a vengeance and challenge for race wins.”

The KWR testing schedule begins at Buttonwillow Raceway March 20-21, 2018. The first round of the MotoAmerica series begins at Road Atlanta April 13-15, 2018.
