SAN RAFAEL, CA – RaceFuelZ, the new hydration performance sports-nutrition drink led by former AFM & AMA racer Michael Aron and owner of Mojotown Multi Media, continues to blaze a trail in the road-racing scene by becoming the official drink of the American Federation of Motorcyclists and the Supermoto USA Championship Series. “These are two organizations close to my heart. The AFM is where I got my start in racing over 25 years ago, and always runs a great series for the locals. Supermoto USA is a hotbed of talented young riders getting some of their best training for future world-class competition. I think Supermoto is building the foundation for American racers going on to international arenas,” says Aron.

This weekend at Sonoma Raceway features racing with three different series, all in one beautiful location, and RaceFuelZ will be involved with them all: the AFM Arai Pacific Nationals; the second GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout (the new, three-series event featuring the top pro riders in the country); and Supermoto USA (at the Sonoma Raceway Karting track a short walk from the main race track).

“We are totally stoked to have RaceFuelz on board our Nor-Cal series. It’s great to know our athletes will be using a nutritional product instead of the current alternatives to liquid energy drinks,” says Brok McAllister, President and founder of Supermoto USA LLC. Brok and Michael, both former racers, first met and worked together over ten years ago. Brok’s son Gage, a Supermoto expert, had his first podium finish in AMA Road Racing at the coveted Daytona International Speedway in March, and will be competing in the Unlimited Pro class in Supermoto racing this weekend in Sonoma. Supermoto fans will also be happy to see Mickey Diamond making an appearance as a guest teacher in the California Supermoto School.

The three-event GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout, conceived and produced by the Ulrich family of Roadracing World, continues this weekend and will feature two professional classes: RaceFuelZ™ Pro Superbike and Dynojet Pro Sportbike – which will run alongside a full schedule of AFM amateur races. Last weekend RaceFuelZ stepped up as the Pro Superbike class sponsor in the inaugural GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout in Fontana, California. “The first event for the Superbike Shootout was a great success,” commented Aron. “The racing was awesome, and the venue was really fun for spectators. I’m looking forward to this weekend in Sonoma, my home track, and feel honored to be involved as a sponsor at this level for the Shootout, AFM and RaceFuelZ.”

Michael Aron has been part of the local racing community since the 1980’s when he first started racing at Sears Point with the AFM. He’s since gone on to work for factory teams as a crew member in the pits, and behind the scenes as a marketing guru with his company, Mojotown Multi Media. In 2009 he opened Mojotown Motorcycle Gear, a specialty retail shop, but his latest venture, RaceFuelZ, is getting him back out to the track to promote racing and his new performance beverage. RaceFuelZ is a healthy drink mix formulated for hydration and endurance You’ll feel the difference when you drink our natural sports performance drink – no Monster amounts of sugar and no Bull or caffeine. “This is a product for everyone – from top-tier athletes in training to folks trying to get through their days productively,” says Aron. RaceFuelZ is sponsoring several notable riders this season, including Chuck Sorenson, Gage McAllister, Daniel Torres, Joey Pascar ella, Josh Serne and Ezra Beaubier.

Chuck Sorensen is a paddock favorite and past AMA Champion returning to racing after battling cancer. “I’m so happy to support Chuck with his return to racing, and I know he’s ready to get back in the game,” says Aron.

Sonomafest this weekend at Sonoma Raceway (Sears Point) promises to be a hot and fun kickoff to summer with great racing for competitors and spectators alike, and plenty of action on and off the track.
