MotoAmerica: Harley-Davidson Defending King Of The Baggers Title

HARLEY-DAVIDSON FACTORY TEAM READY TO DEFEND MOTOAMERICA MISSION KING OF THE BAGGERS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

Defending Champ Kyle Wyman and Brother Travis Wyman to Race Road Glide Bikes Powered by Screamin’ Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131 Crate Engines

MILWAUKEE, WI (March 1, 2022) – The Harley-Davidson® Screamin’ Eagle® factory racing team will return to the track in 2022 to defend its MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers road racing series championship. The team will field returning riders Kyle Wyman (#1), the 2021 Mission King of the Baggers champion, and his brother Travis Wyman (#10) aboard race-prepared Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® motorcycles powered by race modified Screamin’ Eagle® Milwaukee-Eight® 131 Performance Crate Engines. The MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series features American V-Twin touring motorcycles prepared for competition and equipped with a fairing/windscreen and saddlebags. The seven-race series, with each round held in conjunction with the MotoAmerica Superbike Series, opens with a doubleheader on the high banks of Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, March 10-12.

“The MotoAmerica King of the Baggers race series provides exciting racing on motorcycles everyone can relate to,” said Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and CEO, Harley-Davidson. “For Harley-Davidson, King of the Baggers is also an opportunity to demonstrate the championship winning capabilities of our industry-leading performance baggers and to showcase our Screamin’ Eagle performance products and engineering capabilities. The lessons we learn on the track benefit the performance parts we develop for Harley-Davidson customers around the world.”

In addition to competing in the series, the H-D Screamin’ Eagle team is happy to announce they are working directly with MotoAmerica to promote the series by supporting all Harley-Davison competitors. Select performance products developed for the 2021 championship bike are now available to all qualified racers. Teams should reach out directly to their local Harley-Davidson dealership for availability and pricing.

Fast Brothers

Kyle and Travis Wyman are the sons of Kim Wyman, owner of Harv’s Harley-Davidson in Macedon, N.Y. and grew up around Harley-Davidson and flat track racing.

Veteran road racer Kyle Wyman, 32, scored two wins and a second-place finish in the three-race 2021 Mission King of the Baggers series, notching 70 points to lead scoring by 25 points.

Wyman began racing professionally in flat track aboard a Harley-Davidson XR750 and formed Kyle Wyman Racing at the age of 21 to compete at the highest level of professional road racing in the United States. He won the Daytona 200 in 2019 and in addition to winning the Mission King of the Baggers crown, placed ninth in the 2021 HONOS Superbike series. In 2022 Wyman will not compete in Superbike and will focus his full attention on defending his King of the Baggers championship title with the Factory Harley-Davidson team.

“I’m really eager to be defending this championship with the Harley-Davidson Factory Team,” said Kyle Wyman. “The longer season is going to require us to be prepared to be consistent and for the bikes to be durable and reliable, because it’s still a short enough schedule that one bad result can be very significant in the points race.

“Starting the season with a doubleheader at Daytona will be a special challenge because we’ve never raced these bikes on the high banks, which requires such an extended run at sustained high RPM,” said Kyle.

Travis Wyman is the owner of Travis Wyman Racing, based in Las Vegas. The 30-year-old racer finished the 2021 MotoAmerica season in second place in the Stock 1000 series, and fifth place in the Mission King of the Baggers series after scoring second and fourth-place finishes in only two attempts, and 11th place in the HONOS Superbike series.

“Having joined the Harley-Davidson Factory Team mid-season last year and with limited seat time, I was a little behind the curve,” said Travis Wyman. “Now I’ve had a chance to gel with the team and I understand how to go fast on this bike, and this year I expect to be racing with Kyle for the championship. With the expanded schedule I’ll also have a chance to race on some tracks I’ve done well at in the past, including Daytona and Road Atlanta. It should be an exciting season.”

MotoGP: Marc Marquez’s 10 Years With Repsol Honda (Video)

VIDEO: Decade Defining: Marc Marquez’s ten years with the Repsol Honda Team

2022 will see the iconic number 93 enter his tenth season with the stalwart Repsol Honda Team, chasing their seventh World Championship title together.

Since joining the premier class in 2013, Marc Marquez and the Repsol Honda Team have continued to write MotoGP history. Marquez joined the team alongside Dani Pedrosa and quickly made an impression – finishing third on his MotoGP debut in Qatar. Victory would come at just the second race of the season, Marquez becoming the youngest premier class winner at 20 years and 63 days old when he took the first of his seven wins at the Americas GP. With four straight wins in Germany, Laguna Seca, Indianapolis and Brno, the Repsol Honda Team and Marquez set their sights on the title and achieved their target in Valencia, Marquez becoming the youngest premier class World Champion at 20 years and 266 days old, taking the record from fellow Honda Legend Freddie Spencer.

Over the following seasons Marquez continued to grow and develop as a rider inside the Repsol Honda Team, enjoying a number of memorable victories while also taking important lessons from the hard races and difficult seasons. This adaptability has been key to both parties remaining at the forefront of the MotoGP World Championship for such a long period. In 2022, Marquez is looking to overcome two difficult years interrupted by injury and return to consistently battling at the front. Crossing the threshold of 100 premier class podiums, becoming just the fourth rider to do so, is the first record on the line in the new year.

Other accolades achieved during Marquez’s ten years with the Repsol Honda Team include becoming the first rider to win 13 premier class Grands Prix in a single season (2014), where he also became the first rider since 1970 to win ten straight premier class races. The 2013 and 2014 seasons also saw the #93 become the youngest ever back-to-back premier class World Champion at 21 years and 237 days old. More recently, Marquez earned the most points in a single premier class season – 420 during his domination of the 2019 campaign.

To date Marc Marquez and the Repsol Honda Team have achieved 62 poles, 99 podiums, 59 wins and six World Championships together – the defining force in the last ten years of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Motivation and ambition remains as high as ever for the combination as they aim to celebrate their decade together in the best way possible, winning the World Championship once again.

Marquez has also cemented himself as a landmark rider in Honda’s history and sits as the Honda rider with the most premier class wins, most Honda wins across all classes as well as being the outright premier class pole record holder – four ahead of fellow Repsol Honda Team great Mick Doohan. Only Dani Pedrosa has spent more time inside the Repsol Honda Team, having raced in the iconic colours for 13 years.

The 2022 MotoGP World Championship begins on Sunday, March 06 in Qatar with Free Practice 1 starting the season on Friday, March 04. Marc Marquez’s 93 will once again adorn the front fairing of the Repsol Honda Team RC213V.

MotoGP: Mooney VR46 Racing Team To Make Debut In Qatar

MOONEY VR46 RACING TEAM: DEBUT IN QATAR FOR THE TEAM MADE IN TAVULLIA

The long wait is over: Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi will bring the Ducati Desmosedici GPs on track for the first race of the 2022 season

Doha (Qatar), March 1st 2022 – A weekend with a truly special flavor awaits the Mooney VR46 Racing Team in Doha where, as usual, the Qatar Grand Prix will take place this Sunday: the first race of the 2022 season and debut in MotoGP of the Tavullia team. In the heart of the desert, Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi will make their debut with the colors of Mooney and the VR46 at the Lusail International Circuit.

Working from the Sepang tests to take measurements with the Ducati GP22 as well as with the new Team and in the slip stream of the fastest guys after the test at Mandalika (Top3 in the combined standings), Luca is ready for his second year as a rider in the Top class and has very clear ideas on his goals for the new season.

Marco is waiting at the starting blocks too, rookie in the premier class and first among the rookies in Indonesia, motivated to continue his apprenticeship in the new category and his growth path after an encouraging pre-season.

For both, the appointment is at the pit garage of the Lusail International Circuit Friday at 01:40 pm local time (11.40 am CET) for the FP1 of the Qatar GP. The race instead, the first real act of the 2022, is scheduled on Sunday March 6th at 06.00 pm local time (04:00 pm CET).

Pablo Nieto, Team Manager MotoGP Mooney VR46 Racing Team

“They have been very busy months for the whole team, everyone has worked hard to get ready for this race and for the Team’s debut in MotoGP. It will be exciting for everyone to see the Ducati with the official colors of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team on the track for the first time. Luca and Marco arrive here motivated to do their best, they have different goals, different experiences. The Doha race means the start of a new season, always has a special charm and for us, as a Team making its debut in the Top class, it will have an even more important meaning”.

Luca Marini #10

This race always has a special atmosphere: the first GP, the unique setting of the desert and a really beautiful track, one of my favorite on the calendar. This year will be different because I will be riding the Ducati of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team which will make its debut in MotoGP. A new working group, but one that I wanted. The atmosphere in the Team is excellent, the air is positive. We just have to keep working and doing our best starting from this Sunday.

Marco Bezzecchi #72

The long wait is over: I’ve been waiting for this day since the last race in Valencia and can’t wait to get out on track. The first MotoGP race will be special, something I will always remember. Racing with the strongest riders in the highest category of our sport is a dream for every rider. We arrive here after a good pre-season, I worked well with the Team and with Ducati, but the first GP will be another story. There will be the new bike with the colors of the VR46 and Mooney. I want to do well and enjoy the moment.

Roland Sands Design® Returns to King of the Baggers with Rider Frankie Garcia; Adds Superbike Veteran Bobby Fong to Pilot Second RSD Indian Challenger

Saddlemen Calls Upon Lloyd’z Garage to Support Patricia Fernandez & Cory West; Fernandez Returns On Saddlemen Indian Challenger, While West Rides the Series’ Only Chieftain Bagger

MINNEAPOLIS (MARCH 1, 2022) – Indian Motorcycle, America’s First Motorcycle Company, today announced Tyler O’Hara and Jeremy McWilliams as factory riders aboard two Mission® Foods S&S® Indian Challengers for the 2022 MotoAmerica® King of the Baggers series. In addition, Indian Motorcycle Racing is announcing nearly $40,000 in privateer contingency for the 2022 season. Privateer efforts include two privately backed teams: Roland Sands Design and the Saddlemen, Indian Motorcycle Charlotte & St. Paul powered by Lloyd’z Garage – each team with two riders aboard Indian Motorcycle baggers.

“The inaugural King of the Baggers race in 2020 truly disrupted the motorsports world, and the three-race season in 2021 expanded on that and left fans hungry for more. Now with seven races in 2022, King of the Baggers season is primed to take bagger racing to an entirely new level,” said Gary Gray, Vice President – Racing, Technology and Service for Indian Motorcycle. “These races are dynamic platforms to showcase the performance capabilities of our baggers, and we are proud to expand our efforts with an official factory team and growing roster of talented privateers.”

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Indian Motorcycle Racing,” said Juan Gonzalez, Mission Foods Chief Executive Officer. “They are supporting an amazing group of riders that will provide lots of racing excitement for all King of the Baggers race fans.”

Taking to the grid are six Indian Motorcycle baggers, including two factory rides and four privately backed efforts.

S&S® Cycle: Tyler O’Hara & Jeremy McWilliams

Tyler O’Hara enters his third year piloting the Mission® Foods S&S® Indian Challenger, considered by most as the most formidable challenger to recapture the King of the Baggers title in 2022. After winning the inaugural King of the Baggers title in 2020, O’Hara fell just short in 2021, finishing the points race second overall.

Hailing from Ireland, and making his bagger racing debut, is seasoned road racer Jeremy McWilliams. Piloting the second S&S Indian Challenger factory ride, McWilliams brings a wealth of experience and valuable technical knowledge to the team in the ongoing effort to refine and optimize Indian Challenger setups for each race. A four-times Irish Champion, McWilliams began his professional racing career in 1993 and has competed in a variety of road races, series, and classes – including nine years in MotoGP.

“Jeremy is the ideal addition to our team, bringing significant experience and technical knowledge that will compliment the highly cerebral approach that Tyler O’Hara brings to the team. He’s got an unwavering desire to be the fastest and reach the top of the box each-and-every race,” said Paul Skarie, S&S President. “Having a second bike in the paddock is incredibly valuable, allowing riders to bounce feedback off of each other and help team mechanics optimize setups on race day.”

RSD: Frankie Garcia & Bobby Fong

For the 2022 King of the Baggers season, the RSD team welcomes veteran racer Bobby Fong. Having competed in flat track and Superbike, and winning 2021’s Road America 2, Fong brings a diverse experience to the RSD team. Piloting Steve Delorenzi’s S&S-built RSD Indian Challenger, backed by Sacramento Mile and SDI racing, Fong will ride alongside fan-favorite and ever-popular privateer Frankie Garcia who makes his return to the RSD Indian Challenger after finishing on the podium in third-place finish in 2020 and fourth overall in the 2021 series.

“We’re stoked to be expanding our bagger racing efforts with Bobby and grateful to Steve Delorenzi for commissioning the factory team to build a second Indian Challenger and trusting us to take it racing this season,” said Roland Sands. “Bobby’s an incredibly talented racer who demands a lot of himself and pushes the limits, and that makes him a perfect fit for RSD. He and Frankie go back a long way and will help each other, while also pushing each other.”

Saddlemen & Lloyd’z Garage: Patricia Fernandez & Cory West

Entering its third year of bagger racing, its second with Indian Motorcycle Racing, Saddlemen called upon long-time v-twin performance shop, Lloyd’z Garage, to handle race craft efforts for its two Indian Motorcycle entries. The tandem of Lloyd Greer and Tim Sutherland will be at the helm of race-team management and mechanics, supporting Patricia Fernandez aboard the Saddlemen Indian Challenger, as she returns to the King of the Baggers grid as the only female racer.

Joining Fernandez, and making his Indian Motorcycle privateer debut, is veteran motorcycle racer Cory West. After finishing in the middle of the pack in 2020, and missing the 2021 season, West will pilot the series’ only Indian Motorcycle Chieftain bagger. Unlike the fixed-fairing, liquid-cooled Indian Challenger, the Chieftain features a fork-mounted fairing and an air-cooled, Thunderstroke engine.

“V-Twin performance is in our blood, and we have been salivating over the idea of operating our own privateer effort in King of the Baggers ever since its debut in 2020,” said Lloyd Greer of Lloyd’z Garage. “When Saddlemen approached us, we jumped at the opportunity and feel extremely honored and grateful to assume responsibilities for their bagger racing efforts. Patricia is a badass racer, and we’re excited to see her compete again, while Cory’s diverse racing background and expertise will provide valuable feedback and insight for Patricia and our mechanics.”

In support of its privateer efforts, Indian Motorcycle Racing is offering nearly $40,000 in contingency, including a $10,000 championship payout and $3,000, $1,000, and $500 for first, second, and third-place finishes, respectively.

Sponsors for Indian Motorcycle Racing’s King of the Bagger efforts include Mission® Foods, S&S®, Medallia, Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited.

For the 2022 season, MotoAmerica® will host seven rounds of King of the Baggers racing, including the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on March 10-12.  For more information on bagger racing, visit MotoAmerica.com.

New FIM Supercross Promoter Promises Massive Cash Support For Teams

SX Global Unveils Plans for FIM Supercross World Championship Series

Global Series Promises to Elevate the Sport & Expand Global Fanbase,

Offering Unprecedented Financial Support for Teams & Riders, Along with the Sport’s Richest Prize Purses

Queensland, Australia (March 1st, 2022) – SX Global, the Australian company that recently earned the exclusive rights to manage and promote the FIM Supercross World Championship, today unveiled plans for the comprehensive global championship series. Featuring an independent team-ownership model, unprecedented financial support for teams and riders, expanded opportunities for global and local sponsors and innovations to elevate the broadcast and in-stadium experience; the FIM Supercross World Championship represent the most progressive and ambitious platform to elevate the sport and expand its appeal across the world.

The series will feature a highly exclusive structure, with only 10 team licenses available to independent owners, and an unparalleled level of financial support for teams, including seed funding for every team entering the series, appearance fees at every event, and logistics and freight support throughout the series. In total, more than $50 million has been designated specifically for team and rider support over five years. In addition, the independent ownership model opens the door for significant sponsorship opportunities on global and local-event levels.

The global series will feature the richest prize purses in the sport’s history, with a total of $250,000 up for grabs at each event. The FIM Supercross World Championship will follow the established two-class format, with each team fielding four riders – two in 250-cc class, and two in the 450-cc class. Furthermore, every event will allow for two wild card entries in each class, providing opportunities for local riders and sponsor-driven exemptions and round out the 22-rider field. SX Global also plans to deliver an elevated experience for fans, through unique race formats, broadcast innovations, and in-stadium attractions that elevate the overall entertainment experience.

Plans for the global Championship series were underscored today by the news of Mubadala Capital’s investment in SX Global, bringing an unprecedented level of financial support and development resources on behalf of the FIM Supercross World Championship. Mubadala Capital, the asset management arm of Mubadala Investment Company, a sovereign investor with $243 billion in assets under management, brings a wealth of experience in funding the development of global business and sports ventures.

“There is a massive fanbase and untapped demand for supercross outside the United States and backed by the financial support and significant resource of Mubadala Capital, we intend to feed that, bringing the sport to new regions through the most exciting and lucrative World Championship series in the history of the sport,” said Tony Cochrane, President of SX Global. “We have created an entirely new model for supercross – one that emphasizes expanded financial support and opportunities for riders and teams, expanded opportunities for sponsorship and an elevated experience for fans.”

The FIM Supercross World Championship will annually take place in the second half of the year, ensuring a complimentary relationship to the Monster Energy Supercross Series in America. With plans for five events from September through November, 2022 will serve as a “pilot” season, allowing the series to establish itself and build momentum. 2023, and subsequent years, will see the series expand annually between June and November.

While the supercross series in the United States has firmly established itself as the preeminent platform for the sport, there has yet to be a definitive global series to lay claim to a true FIM-sanctioned World Championship. Highly successful events are held throughout Europe and Australia every year, normally around September–December. However, these events are not currently linked by any official FIM ‘championship’ status, and this remains a significant untapped opportunity for the sport’s ongoing credibility and evolution, as well as a significant opportunity for riders and teams to expand their influence and financial prospects.

“Over the years, there have been various attempts to build a true World Championship series for supercross, but none of them have succeeded, due to deficiencies in funding and resource, lack of global and regional relationships and a variety of other factors,” said Adam Bailey, Managing Director, Motorsport, for SX Global. “Our team possess the necessary supercross and international event background, relationships and expertise, and the funding to make this World Championship a reality.”

SX Global brings a team of highly qualified motorsports and entertainment executives, armed with the experience to successfully deliver a series of this magnitude. SX Global President, Tony Cochrane, spearheaded the development and success of V8 Supercars, an Australian-based auto racing series that became one of Australia’s most successful motorsports, eventually expanding with events in Shanghai, the United States, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and New Zealand. In addition, proven supercross event veterans Adam Bailey and Ryan Sanderson have been the driving force behind Australia’s highest-profile supercross offering, the AUS-X open. The duo has promoted five years of consecutive sold out AUS-X Open events in Sydney (2015-2018) and Melbourne (2019), along with successful events in Auckland, New Zealand in 2018 and 2019.

“Our entire careers have been driven by a passion for motorsport and entertainment, and our motivations are as pure as they come – to continue to evolve and elevate our sport and its incredible athletes to new levels of global relevance and success,” said Ryan Sanderson, Managing Director, Commercial, for SX Global “Our aim is to take the amazing sport of supercross global and reveal its greatness to millions of new fans all over the world.”

About SX Global:

Based in Queensland, Australia, SX Global is a collective of world class sports marketing and entertainment experts who operate globally within the motorsports and entertainment industries. Considered the “founding father” of the modern era of Australian motor racing, Tony Cochrane leads the SX Global team as president, bringing more than 45 years of experience in developing and managing successful motorsports series and events. Managing Directors,  Adam Bailey, a former competitive rider, and Ryan Sanderson, bring extensive proven experience in supercross event development, management and promotion after five years of successfully delivering the largest action sports and supercross event in the Southern Hemisphere, the AUS-X Open.

Mubadala Capital’s investment will support SX Global’s expansion plans for supercross and its efforts to capitalize on the exclusive rights it has secured from the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) to manage and promote the new FIM Supercross World Championship, bringing the exciting sport of off-road motorbike racing to fans across the globe in a new competitive format.

“Our commitment to SX Global and the FIM Supercross World Championship builds on our strategy and track record of selectively investing in premier content properties with strong global appeal,” said Adib Martin Mattar, Head of Private Equity at Mubadala Capital. “We expect that our investment in SX Global will introduce the exciting sport of professional supercross to a global audience and build lasting value by delivering an authentic, exciting and fan-centric experience.”

With the international reach, resources, and business building experience of Mubadala Capital alongside us, we’re looking forward to establishing FIM Supercross World Championship as a leading global motorsport and entertainment property.”

Representing Mubadala Capital on the SX Global Board of Directors will be Matt Kim and Russ Pillar, who collectively bring decades of experience backing and leading global sports, media, and entertainment companies. They will be joining Tony Cochrane, SX Global’s President; Adam Bailey, SX Global’s Managing Director (Motorsport); Ryan Sanderson, SX Global’s Managing Director (Commercial); Tom Potter, Rush Sport & Entertainment; and Tavo Hellmund, Founder, Event Partners Marketing, on SX Global’s Board of Directors.

In December 2021, the FIM awarded SX Global the exclusive organisational and commercial rights to stage, manage and promote the FIM Supercross World Championship. Under the leadership of the SX Global Team, and with the financial backing and support of Mubadala Capital, Supercross will become a true global sports property, competing on a legitimate international platform for the first time in history. The FIM Supercross World Championship will commence in late 2022.

GRT YAMAHA WORLDSBK TEAM STARTS ITS 2022 CAMPAIGN IN ARAGÓN

Following the Winter break, the GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team is pleased to return on track and is ready for a thrilling 2022 season. Garrett Gerloff and Kohta Nozane will come back in action alongside the whole team in Aragon on 3rd-4th March at Motorland Aragon to officially begin current year’s campaign.

This will be the first pre-season test in preparation for the 2022 FIM Superbike World Championship as well. After strong work during the whole winter, the GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team cannot wait to push once again on track to demonstrate the job done during the break.

Of course, also the riders could not wait for this moment to come. Kohta Nozane and Garrett Gerloff trained hard over the winter to be fully ready for the beginning of the season. The first test will serve to remove the dust, set the condition and regaining the feeling on the bikes.

With unpredictable weather condition expected this week, testing plans for GRT Yamaha may change day by day. The whole crew is anyway ready for every possible scenario.

The next GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team test after Aragon is scheduled on 16th-17th at Misano World Circuit. Stay tuned on our channels to be updated on every news regarding the team and to do not miss any single action on track.

Garrett Gerloff: “I am super excited to get back on my Yamaha R1 after four months off the bike. It was way too long and I am hoping for good weather even though it is not looking the best. Anyway just being again on the bike will be awesome and I cannot wait to see again the whole GRT team, my extended family, again!”

Kohta Nozane: “I am thrilled to start this new season. My first year in World Superbike was not easy but I learned a lot and I am ready for 2022 championship. We will begin our campaign from Aragon and first of all we will regain confidence with the R1 and planning the job with my crew. I cannot wait to see again the team after a long time.”

Filippo Conti (Team Manager): “We are ready to come back on track. From Aragon we will start our 2022 campaigns, then we will move to Misano, Barcelona and once again Aragon. This first test will be helpful to remove the dust from the winter over than regaining feeling and getting a good base for the future. The team did not lose time and worked really hard throughout the break to be fully ready for the new season. There’s a lot of energy and everyone cannot wait to start again the job.”

INDIAN MOTORCYCLE RACING ANNOUNCES FACTORY RACE TEAM, PRIVATEERS & CONTINGENCY FOR 2022 KING OF THE BAGGERS SERIES

Tyler O’Hara & Jeremy McWilliams to Pilot S&S Indian Challengers as Factory Race Team; Indian Motorcycle Racing Offering Nearly $40,000 in Privateer Contingency

Progressive AFT Announces All-Star Broadcast Team For 2022 Season

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 28, 2022) – Progressive American Flat Track is excited to announce the all-star broadcast team that will call the live action and tell the story of the 2022 season for both its FOX Sports television broadcasts and Facebook livestreams.

Veteran sportscaster Ralph Sheheen will join the “Voice of American Flat Track” Scottie Deubler in the booth to provide in-depth coverage of the races while Kristen Beat will provide key insights from the pits.

Sheheen is one of the most recognized voices in motorsports with more than three decades of nationally televised broadcasting experience. The California native brings a wealth of enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience, having covered a number of the biggest motorsports championships on both two and four wheels and across almost every major network that airs racing.

Deubler is deservedly known as the “Voice of Progressive American Flat Track,” and 2022 will mark the Oklahoman’s 14th consecutive season in the booth for Progressive AFT. A certified subject matter expert, Deubler is a third-generation professional flat track racer who is as well versed in the sport and its personalities as anyone in the world.

Beat will once again bring the inside story of what’s happening behind the scenes to Progressive AFT fans for the fourth consecutive season. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Beat grew up surrounded by motorsports and motorcycles, bringing that passion to the track each weekend as she shines a light on the human drama that unfolds at every Progressive AFT event.

Riki Rachtman – master of mayhem in both the motorsports and music worlds – will return for a third consecutive season to provide additional color from the pits at select rounds.

FOX Sports’ coverage will include green-light-to-checkered-flag Main Event action, exclusive news and features, and cutting-edge aerial drone and onboard footage in order to effectively translate the excitement of Progressive AFT to fans at home like never before.

Meanwhile, the livestream on Facebook will serve as a remote paddock, allowing fans to watch the action from start to finish as it occurs. The livestream will be free up until Opening Ceremonies. Fans can then purchase access to watch Opening Ceremonies, Semis, Main Events and podium celebrations via Facebook Paid Online Events for $3.99 if purchased 24 hours or more in advance, or $4.99 if purchased on the day of the event.

Progressive AFT will kick off the 2022 season with a Daytona Bike Week doubleheader on Thursday, March 10 and Friday, March 11 at Volusia Speedway Park. Secure your tickets to the season opener now at https://store.americanflattrack.com/ebooking/ticket/view/id/3666.
