Yamaha Motor Europe Launches Revised R125

Editorial Note: This is a press release about a European model.

Complete Supersport range from 125cc through to 1000cc

Incredibly it is exactly 25 years since Yamaha rocked the motorcycle world with the unveiling of the very first R1 in front of a stunned audience of journalists who could barely believe what Yamaha had created. With its ultra-lightweight, remarkably compact dimensions and class-leading power output, this iconic motorcycle represented the beginning of a truly amazing new era for Europe’s Supersport riders.

The arrival of the first R1 was just the beginning. R1M, R6, R3, R125 and more recently the R7 were to follow in its tyre tracks, each of them created in the image of R1 – the undisputed King of Supersport. By bringing genuine race bike technology and performance to the street, Yamaha’s R-Series models have been inspiring many thousands of riders for a quarter of a century.

Yamaha’s R-Series continues to set the agenda with the widest range of exhilarating Supersport models from 125cc through to 1000cc. With a winning track record in the world’s most prestigious racing championships, R-Series has established itself as the definitive family of high performance machines. And for 2023 the launch of the next generation R125 reaffirms Yamaha’s commitment to offering every rider the most exceptional high performance riding experience.

4th Generation R125: R-Connection

When Yamaha launched the very first R125 in 2008 it brought advanced Supersport design and technology to the 125cc A1 license class. Setting new standards for thrilling performance, handling agility and aggressive style, this best-in-class bike became an overnight success – and has maintained its position as the premiere high performance lightweight to this day.

During the past 15 years this iconic machine has consistently evolved to maintain its superstar status amongst performance minded riders who are looking for the ultimate race-developed motorcycle. Designed for young and uncompromising Supersport riders at the beginning of their relationship with the R-Series, R125 continues to show the way ahead.

Every Yamaha Supersport is developed with the same pure R-Series DNA that has made the flagship R1 the dominant bike in World and British Superbike racing. Race-bred technology is also evident throughout the 2023 R125, from the dynamic new body design through to its Deltabox frame technology and radial mount front brake caliper.

Featuring an instantly recognisable new face that is directly inspired by the R7 – and equipped with connected TFT instruments as well as a range of chassis refinements and new electronics – the 4th generation Yamaha R125 gives every rider a real taste of where R/World can take them.

Latest R-Series design

R125 gets a whole new look that underlines its status as Yamaha’s ultimate lightweight Supersport and reinforces the R-Series family ties that make it such a special motorcycle.

A powerful new bi-functional LED headlight sits centrally in the M-shaped nose and delivers a brilliant low and high beam for excellent vision and visibility. The headlight’s ultra-compact dimensions and low weight have enabled the fitment of a highly aerodynamic front cowling with R7-inspired LED position lights to give the R125 a radical new ‘big-bike’ appearance.

Featuring a more aggressive face as well as an aerodynamic new fairing and redesigned vented tank covers that convey the feeling of a strong horizontal flow, the all-new body transforms the appearance of the lightest Yamaha Supersport. This reshaped bodywork gives a fully coordinated and refined look that underlines this best-in-class bike’s status as the premium high performance 125.

R1-inspired 5-inch TFT instruments

The new 2023 R125 benefits from the very latest 5-inch full colour TFT instruments inspired by the flagship R1. Two different graphic themes are featured: the rider can select either ‘Street’ theme or ‘Track’ theme to match different riding situations. ‘Street’ theme features a central digital speedometer and a bar-type tachometer as well as an array at the base that includes flasher/main beam/temperature warning lights. ‘Track’ theme is a more focused layout featuring a central lap timer with a 25 lap memory and bar-type tachometer above – providing the rider with key information when they’re on a race circuit.

Both screen themes feature a programmable shift light at the top of the display – and ‘Track’ theme incorporates a programmable rpm meter range, enabling the rider to customise the visuals to match their riding style and individual preferences.

Smartphone connectivity

Staying in touch is now even easier for R125 riders because the 2023 model is equipped with a Communication Control Unit (CCU) that enables smartphone connectivity. To activate the connectivity, the rider’s smartphone firstly needs to be linked to the machine via Bluetooth® using Yamaha’s free MyRide app. As soon as the owner has linked their smartphone, they can see notifications of incoming calls and text messages on the new 5-inch TFT screen, as well as monitor key parameters of the bike via the app.

Riders can also access information including smartphone battery status, and in the event of any technical issue with the R125, the system can notify a Yamaha dealer or any other designated contact that has been selected by the owner.

Traction control system

For the highest level of confidence and control the R125 is equipped with a traction control system. Together with the A&S clutch and the optional quick shift system, the traction control enables the R125 rider to experience a high degree of controllability especially during full throttle acceleration. The status of this switchable system is displayed on the new 5-inch TFT instruments, and it can be turned off to suit certain situations such as track riding.

New R1-inspired upper triple clamp and handlebar switches

Overall feel and appearance of the R125’s cockpit is elevated to a whole new level with the new 5-inch TFT instruments as well as new R1-inspired high quality upper triple clamp that reinforces the bike’s pure R-Series DNA.

The clip-on handlebars are equipped with new R1-inspired ergonomic switches that enable the rider to control intuitively various functions including the new TFT screen theme.

Pre-wired for quickshifter

Every Yamaha R-Series is a race-bred machine that is inspired by the no-compromise spirit of the winning R1M and constructed with the latest race developed technology. The 2023 model is prewired for a quick shifter, making it straightforward for R125 riders to fit a Genuine Yamaha quick shift system that enables seamless full throttle upshifts for stronger acceleration.

Michelin Pilot Street tyres

The 2023 model is equipped with Michelin Pilot Street tyres that have been developed to offer sporty handling together with strong performance in the wet and dry – while their latest tread design offers an excellent grip / wear balance. Running on a 100/80-17 front tyre and a wide 140/70-17 rear tyre, this combination provides the R125 with excellent roadholding and agile cornering.

Road America Completes Repaving Project

Road America Announces Repave Project Completion

ELKHART LAKE, Wis., November 3, 2022 – A ribbon cutting today at America’s National Park of Speed commemorated the completion of the long-anticipated replacement project of the racing surface that has not been overhauled since 1995. Milling and grinding the entire 4.048-mile racetrack, including the pit lane, began on October 3. Fine grading, a new base layer, and a new final surface asphalt layer followed in late October. Now the all-new race surface has the entire off-season to cure before the 2023 season.

The big news is that aside from the opportunity to make minor adjustments, the original configuration of the entire racetrack remained the same. Advanced Materials Services consultants, Walbec Group engineers, and their Northeast Asphalt team were mindful of the tracks’ history and authentic character. Before milling off the old surface, the entire racecourse was surveyed to allow the engineers and Road America to review the track’s unique characteristics and make decisions that guided the grade control process during each step of the repaving process. Over 7,000-grade control points were set to direct the grading and paving process to ensure that the track width, camber angles, and curbing locations were accurate within a tenth of an inch.

“Our goal was to put the track back exactly as we found it to maintain its distinct features and preserve the track’s significance in the racing world,” said Craig Donze, Engineering Manager for the Walbec Group. “High-quality aggregates were locally sourced from Wisconsin, and the team used a highly polymerized asphalt mix to maximize durability. Multiple tests were performed throughout the project to ensure the surface would handle the weather and racing stresses. Teamwork from initial planning through construction resulted in a racing surface that will provide competitors and racing fans enjoyment for years to come.”

Engineers and Road America worked collaboratively throughout the project to improve drainage around the property and upgrade features that cross beneath the racing surface before paving. This included increasing the size of culverts and running new conduits under the track to support the facility’s events. Over 800 truckloads were removed during milling, with nearly the same number of trucks bringing in the new asphalt racing surface for paving. During the project, two paving machines ran in an echelon (side-by-side) pattern to minimize the center seam visibility and maintain a consistent density.

“This was a massive endeavor, and we are extremely excited to have a new racetrack for competitors and fans to enjoy,” said Mike Kertscher, Road America’s President and General Manager. “The goal was to keep it the same as our founder Clif Tufte envisioned, and we’re certain we met that goal. We look forward to the future with this all-new track and pit lane, and we encourage everyone to get their season passes, tickets, and camping for what we anticipate will be an incredible season in 2023.”

About Road America: Established in 1955, Road America is conveniently located between Milwaukee and Green Bay in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The world’s best racers have competed at this legendary four-mile, 14-turn road circuit for over 67 years. Along with over 500 events held seasonally at the 640-acre facility, several major weekends are open to the public, which include the IndyCar Series, the MotoAmerica Series, three vintage racing events, numerous Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) events, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and NASCAR. Road America’s park-like grounds offer amazing viewing opportunities, numerous camping options, fantastic concessions, and high-speed excitement to hundreds of thousands of spectators each year. Fans can also stay and play in cabins conveniently on the grounds and find all sorts of souvenirs, collectibles, and apparel at the 7,500 sq. ft Paddock Shop. Affectionately known by many as America’s National Park of Speed, Road America can accommodate groups of all sizes, including weddings and corporate events in the Tufte Conference Center. Triumph Introduces More Powerful 2024 Street Triple Lineup (Updated)

More Power, Naked Performance: Triumph Introduces New Street Triple 765 Lineup at Valencia MotoGP Event

by Michael Gougis

Triumph unveiled its vision of a sporting middleweight on Thursday night at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, displaying a trio of naked roadsters with upgraded electronics and more raw power.

Triumph officials, joined by Carlos Ezpeleta, Sports director of Dorna Sports, said the 2024 Street Triple 765 range represented the direction of that market segment – more horsepower and torque, more sophistication and no fairing.

Triumph Chief Product Officer Steve Sargent said the enhancements to the machine were driven by the success of the limited-edition Daytona Moto2 765. The engine, which formed the basis for the current era of spec Moto2 racebike powerplants, played a large part in driving customers to that machine, he said.

“A major part of the bike’s uniqueness came from its 765 engine,” Sargent said. “These (new Street Triples) represent that same commitment to bring what we’ve learned and developed in racing, the insight in innovation and design and the focus on high performance and durability, and applying all of that to our road motorcycle development.”

Triumph says the new Street Triples (all coming to the U.S. are 2024 models) feature engine upgrades that deliver an increase in peak torque to 59 lbs.-ft. for all three models. The new Street Triple 765 R makes 118 bhp, and the Street Triple RS and Moto2 editions make 128 bhp, Triumph claims.

All models now feature clutchless up- and down-shifting, and all come with optimized cornering ABS and switchable optimized cornering traction control. Chassis upgrades include a new gull-wing swingarm, higher specification Brembo Stylema brakes on the RS and Moto2 editions, and Ohlins suspension front and rear on the Moto2 model.

The R and RS models are expected in U.S dealer showrooms no later than April 2023, with the Moto2 edition available no later than June. Suggested retail for the R model starts at $9,995, with the RS going for $12,595 and the Moto2 edition for $15,395.

THE MOST POWERFUL STREET TRIPLE RANGE EVER

Thanks to major upgrades derived directly from the Moto2™ race engine program, the 765cc triple engine now delivers a step up in power and performance, at 118 HP, for the new Street R, and a category-leading peak power of 128 HP on the RS and Moto2™ Edition. Torque is also up across all three models, exhilarating from low down and all the way through the rev range, peaking at a new 59 lbs.-ft. Being a triple, its blend of usable low and mid-range torque and thrilling top-end performance makes for an exhilarating and characterful ride. The world-renowned engine is more responsive than ever, too – in addition to significant component updates, its shorter gear ratios deliver faster acceleration making this latest generation of Street Triple the sharpest and liveliest yet.

Significantly updated class-defining 765cc engine

Learnings taken directly from the Moto2™ race engine program have been applied to the new Street Triple 765 engine, making it more performance-focused and characterful than ever. The compression ratio has been raised from 12.65:1 to 13.25:1 – an increase of 4.7%. New pistons, con-rods and gudgeon pins are matched to new, optimized combustion chambers for an increased cylinder pressure limit, and ultimately, more power. New valves and camshafts give increased valve lift for improved intake, combustion, and exhaust efficiency, with new gearbox ratios for improved performance and responsiveness.

More power, even more accessible torque

The Street Triple’s outstanding performance and top-end power has been taken to the next level. The R peaks at 118 HP at 11,500rpm, while The RS and Moto2™ Edition now produce a category leading 128 HP at 12,000rpm, with all three models benefiting from the same usable torque down low in the rev-range and all the way through the mid-range with a notable increase from 7,500rpm onwards. Peak torque of 59 lbs.-ft. arrives at 9,500rpm.

The most responsive Street Triple ever

The gearbox has been revised to include shorter gear ratios for faster acceleration. Together with a new final drive ratio, the Street Triple is now sharper, livelier, and more responsive than ever. Combined with the increase in power and torque, which brings a notable improvement in performance, the Street Triple 765 cements its position as the class benchmark.

Hair-raising triple soundtrack

Further updates include a new exhaust system with increased flowrate, as well as a new sporty single-sided silencer, which delivers the Street Triple’s renowned and distinctive hair-raising sound.

THE PERFECT PERFORMANCE NAKED BIKE SET-UP

New technology, new high specification components, and the most agile Street Triple chassis to date, together with the optimum weight and balance, make the Street Triple range the best handling ever and the perfect performance naked bike set-up.

New poised and dynamic ergonomics

The new Street Triple 765 R and RS both benefit from the new generation’s more focused and commanding riding position, thanks to the new 0.47” (12mm) wider handlebars. The race-inspired Moto2™ Edition goes one step further again with clip-on handlebars, that are 3.149” (80mm) lower and 1.97” (50mm) further forward than the R and RS, which combined with its unique high-specification Öhlins forks, delivers even more race bike poise and front end feel for the most dynamic Street Triple ride ever.

Both the RS and the Moto2™ Edition feature revised geometry with a steeper rake and a raised back end for nimble, faster turning. Still as surefooted and planted as ever, these improvements sacrifice none of the confidence-inspiring attributes that the Street Triple has become renowned for.

With an accessible seat height of 32.52” (826mm) on the Street Triple R, 32.91” (836mm) on the Street Triple RS and 33.03” (839mm) Moto2TM Edition, a new accessory low seat option, with 3D net technology for enhanced comfort, can be fitted to reduce the height by a further 1.10” (28mm) on all models. For the Street Triple RS and Moto2TM Edition Triumph dealers can additionally lower the seat by a further 0.39” (10mm) if required through the implementation of a dedicated rear suspension linkage adaption, which when delivered in combination with the accessory low seat provides a very accessible height of 31.42” (798mm) on the RS and 31.54” (801mm) on the Moto2TM Edition.

New highest specification Brembo brakes

The Street Triple 765 R features high-quality braking components, with the excellent Brembo M4.32 4-piston radial monobloc calipers at the front and a Brembo single piston sliding caliper at the rear. For Street Triple 765 RS and Moto2™ Edition racetrack-capable braking performance comes as standard, with both models coming fitted as standard with top-spec Brembo Stylema 4-piston radial monobloc front calipers with twin 310mm floating discs. A matching Brembo MCS span and ratio adjustable lever gives even more control and finesse, while a Brembo single piston sliding caliper keeps things in check at the rear.

Linked brakes provide the perfect balance of front to rear braking for improved stability and reduced stopping distances.

High specification fully adjustable suspension

Complementing the Street Triple’s ground-breaking chassis design, top quality suspension components from Showa and Öhlins have been carefully selected to suit each model. All are fully adjustable for preload, compression, and rebound.

The Street Triple 765 R comes fitted with Showa 41mm upside down separate function big piston forks and a Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock RSU. For the higher specification Street Triple 765 RS this comes equipped with top-specification Showa 41mm upside down big piston forks and an Öhlins piggyback reservoir rear shock.

The Street Triple 765 Moto2™ Edition showcases its track-ready capability with its 43mm upside down Öhlins front forks for precise handling and an Öhlins piggyback reservoir rear shock. Front wheel travel on all models is 115mm, with 131.2mm rear wheel travel on the RS and Moto2™ Edition, and 133.5mm on the Street Triple R.

Track-ready tires

High performance Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires come fitted as standard to the Street Triple 765 RS and the Moto2™ Edition. These offer racetrack levels of grip and outstanding high-speed stability, all from a fully road legal tire.

The Street Triple 765 R comes with the versatile and well-regarded Continental ContiRoad tires, which offer superb levels of grip in both wet and dry road conditions. This makes them the ideal choice for all-season commuting as well as fast road riding.

Lightweight chassis and gullwing swingarm

The Street Triple’s gullwing swingarm has been developed for excellent torsional stiffness with lateral flexibility. The design maximizes stability at higher speeds for enhanced rider confidence while the pivot position provides natural resistance to compressing the rear shock absorber under hard acceleration. This translates into tight corner exits and precise, predictable chassis behavior.

This, combined with its lightweight chassis and incredible power-to-weight ratio, are key to the Street’s class-defining performance. Agile and exhilarating, with Triumph’s signature confidence-inspiring handling make it an accessible choice for all riders.

NEW AND IMPROVED RIDER-FOCUSED TECHNOLOGY

The new Street Triple 765 range features some great advances in rider-focused technology. With improvements and refinements to the ABS, traction control and riding modes, performance and safety go hand-in-hand with rider comfort and convenience.

New Optimized Cornering ABS

The latest generation of optimized cornering ABS comes as standard on all three new Street Triple 765 models, ensuring the optimum braking performance at any lean angle. The system features a new ABS modulator with an integrated IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for more refined ABS control. Tailored settings integrated into each of the riding modes alter the level of ABS intervention, while a track-focused tune is also present for riders seeking minimal ABS intervention.

New Switchable Optimized Cornering Traction Control

Now standard on all three Street Triple 765 models, optimized cornering traction control supported by an IMU continuously calculates the lean angle to ensure the optimum slip rate and torque control. Four independently adjustable levels of intervention can be selected to suit riding styles and road conditions, including a track-focused tune with minimal intervention as well as the ability to turn it off altogether, for experienced riders in high-grip racetrack situations.

Upgraded riding modes for a more dynamic feel

The new Street Triple 765 R features four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport and Rider-configurable, making it easy to fine tune the Street Triple to suit the rider’s preferences.

The Street Triple 765 RS and Moto2™ Edition have five riding modes, adding a Track mode to the R’s four standard modes. This track mode has been designed to be as unintrusive as possible while still providing the reassurance that the electronic systems are there to help in unexpected situations.

Each riding mode adjusts the character and behavior of the bike, with new more dynamic throttle maps in Road, Sport, and Track modes for an even more responsive feel. Rain mode restricts the engine power to 98.6 HP while increasing the level of ABS and Traction Control intervention for better feel and control in wet conditions.

5” full-color TFT instruments

The new Street Triple 756 RS and Moto2™ Edition feature 5” full-color TFT instruments. The ergonomically optimized switch cubes and five-way joystick offer intuitive system navigation. The MyTriumph connectivity system is pre-enabled, meaning that Street Triple owners can access turn-by-turn navigation, phone control and music operation via the accessory-fit Bluetooth module and free My Triumph app.

A lap timer is included on the RS and Moto2™ Edition for track day use, while the Moto2™ Edition also features a unique and distinctive start up sequence that displays the official Moto2™ logo. The Street Triple 765 R comes fitted with its own dedicated easy-to-read multi-functional instrument set-up, which includes a TFT display for key information.

Latest generation Triumph Shift Assist

Triumph’s latest track-ready up and down quickshifter is fitted as standard to all three Street Triple models. Ideal for track and fast road riding, upshifts can be made without closing the throttle for a smooth, fast shift that won’t unsettle the bike.

Downshifts can also be made without the use of the clutch and without the need to blip the throttle to match the gear and engine speeds as this process is automatically carried out by the new Street Triple. This feature represents a major riding aid on corner entry, allowing a smooth and controlled deceleration.

Slip and assist clutch

Triumph’s slip and assist clutch fitted to all three Street Triple models ensures a light and consistent lever feel for enhanced comfort and control on the road, particularly useful in the stop/start scenario of an urban commute.

Front wheel lift control

The front-wheel lift control is designed to enhance control while feeling barely noticeable to the rider. Advanced new algorithms continuously monitor signals from the IMU to ensure smoother control and faster progress.

SHARPER STYLING, WITH A MORE AGGRESSIVE ATTITUDE AND POISE

Carefully evolved since its launch in 2007, the striking new aesthetic delivers the unmistakable Street Triple design DNA with the most aggressive attitude and poise yet. With new racing-derived ‘765’ sporty graphics, this new Street Triple generation redefines the category, setting a new benchmark for the performance naked bike class.

All-new bodywork

Completely redesigned, the Street Triple’s sharper and more focused style is the result of attention to a great number of details. The new 3.96-gallon (15-liter) fuel tank has integrated side panels with an angular design that aligns beautifully with the sharper radiator cowls, further complemented by a new headlight finisher that also incorporates the air intake. Additionally, there’s a new color-coded belly pan for the RS — which is available as an accessory option for the R.

The rear end of the new Street Triple is no less exceptional, with a sporty, upswept design to give a focused, nose-down attitude. The RS features a color-coded seat cowl with an interchangeable passenger seat – making switching between different configurations easy. The new silencer shape adds to the Street Triple’s aggressive stance as well as accentuating the hair-raising Triumph triple soundtrack.

As the ultimate, race-inspired Street Triple, the Moto2™ Edition features lightweight carbon fiber bodywork including the front mudguard, side panels, headlight finisher and belly pan. Adding yet more exclusivity and desirability, each of these limited-edition motorcycles has an exquisitely machined top yoke with its number etched onto it. Just 765 of each color scheme will be made, making this the most exclusive, and collectable, Street Triple to date.

New race-derived Street Triple color schemes

The Street Triple 765 R is available in two contemporary colors: Silver Ice with Storm Grey and Yellow graphics or Crystal White with Storm Grey and Lithium Flame graphics.

For the Street Triple 765 RS, there’s a choice of three bold and distinctive paint schemes; Silver Ice with Baja Orange and Storm Grey graphics, Carnival Red with Carbon Black and Aluminum Silver graphics or Cosmic Yellow with Carbon Black and Aluminum Silver graphics.

Finally, the Moto2™ Edition comes in two, eye-catching race-derived liveries. Triumph Racing Yellow with an Aluminum Silver rear sub-frame or Crystal White with Triumph Racing Yellow rear subframe. With official Moto2™ branding on the tank, wheel, tail unit and silencer, these limited-edition machines offer a unique, race-inspired aesthetic as well as a completely new Street Triple riding experience.

Accessories

More than 50 Genuine Triumph Accessories will be available for the new Street Triple range. Allowing owners to tailor their Street Triples to their needs, from cruise control (RS and Moto2™ Edition only) to fly screens, heated grips, passenger grab handles, low seat option, and bespoke luggage, there’s an accessory for every type of Street Triple rider. Designed to fit the Street Triple without compromise, all Genuine Triumph Accessories come with the same two-year unlimited mileage warranty as the bike itself.

MotoAmerica: Provisional 2023 Schedule Released

More Races, More Action In Store For MotoAmerica Championship In 2023

20 Medallia Superbike Races On Tap, A Return To Daytona, A MotoAmerica Standalone Event At Circuit Of The Americas, Two Supersport Races Get Pit Stops, And Mission King Of The Baggers Series Grows To 14 Races For 2023

IRVINE, CA (November 3, 2022) – Hot on the heels of a thrilling 2022 season that saw three of its championships decided at the final round – with two of those won on tiebreakers – MotoAmerica, North America’s premier road racing series, has announced its tentative 2023 schedule, highlighted by 20 Medallia Superbike races slated across nine rounds. In total, MotoAmerica will host a record 100 races spread amongst eight classes over the course of the 2023 season.

The Supersport class gets an exciting twist, with two of its rounds (Barber Motorsports Park and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca) featuring a single points-paying race with an extended distance that will require a pit stop for tire changes and fuel.

Additionally, the Medallia Superbike class will compete three times over the weekend at both Laguna Seca and Pittsburgh International Race Complex, with one Saturday and two Sunday races.

“The 2022 season for MotoAmerica saw some excellent racing across all classes and we couldn’t be more excited for what 2023 has in store,” said MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland. “The new schedule has taken into consideration costs, geography, and logistics, as well as feedback from fans and teams. As our events grow, it’s also important we expand to larger facilities, and we are extremely pleased to announce a standalone round at the Circuit of The Americas. And, along with increasing the length of two Supersport races to necessitate pit stops, great things are in the pipeline for 2023, and Daytona can’t get here soon enough.”

The MotoAmerica season kicks off as it did in 2022 with the Daytona 200 at Daytona International Speedway. The iconic race will again feature AMA/FIM North America Supersport-class machines with riders from around the world taking part in the race’s 81st running. In addition to the 200, there will be two races for the three other classes set to run on the high banks: REV’IT! Twins Cup, Mission King Of The Baggers, and Roland Sands Design’s Super Hooligan National Championship.

A few weeks after Daytona, MotoAmerica will return to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, for the opening round of the Medallia Superbike Championship, April 21-23. The weekend will also feature Mission King Of The Baggers, as well as Supersport, Yuasa Stock 1000 and SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup classes.

For five of the past six years, Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, has been the site of the MotoAmerica season finale, but that changes for 2023 as Barber moves to May 19-21 for the second round of the Medallia Superbike championship. Barber will also see the introduction of the extended-length, double-points-paying Supersport class race, which will bring pit stop strategy and teamwork into play.

From Barber, the championship moves to Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, on its traditional date of the first weekend in June. Road America will feature the Medallia Superbike class, Mission King Of The Baggers, Supersport and SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup, and will be the opening round of the Royal Enfield “Build. Train. Race.” series.

Following the June 2-4 race weekend in Wisconsin, the series heads west for two rounds of racing, first at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington, June 23-25, followed by WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, July 7-9. The Ridge weekend will showcase Medallia Superbike, Supersport, REV’IT! Twins Cup, Roland Sands Design’s Super Hooligan National Championship, and the Royal Enfield “Build. Train. Race.” series.

Laguna Seca will play host to three Medallia Superbike races as well as REV’IT! Twins Cup, Mission King Of The Baggers, Roland Sands Design’s Super Hooligan National Championship and the second and final extended distance Supersport race.

From Laguna Seca, the series ventures to Brainerd, Minnesota, and Brainerd International Raceway, July 28-30, for round six of the Medallia Superbike Championship, along with Supersport, Mission King Of The Baggers, Yuasa Stock 1000, SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup, and the Royal Enfield’s “Build. Train. Race.” series.

Pittsburgh International Race Complex will host MotoAmerica August 18-20, led by three Medallia Superbike races. Additionally, Supersport, REV’IT! Twins Cup, SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup, and Royal Enfield “Build. Train. Race.” will round out the race weekend.

For the first time in its history, MotoAmerica will showcase a standalone event in the Lone Star State with a standalone event at Circuit of The Americas, September 8-10. The historic event will feature round seven of Medallia Superbike as well as Mission King Of The Baggers, Supersport, and the final rounds of the Yuasa Stock 1000 Championship and Roland Sands Design’s Super Hooligan National Championship.

And finally, New Jersey Motorsports Park will play host to the final round of the 2023 MotoAmerica Championship, September 22-24, with Medallia Superbike, Supersport, REV’IT! Twins Cup, SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup and Mission King Of The Baggers all seeing their championships come to a conclusion in South Jersey.
