Moto2 European Championship: American Moor P18 in Race 1 & P19 in Race 2

American Rossi Attila Moor, riding his Cardoso Racing Kalex on the 2.89-mile (4.66 km) track, was 18th during Moto2 European Championship Race 1 Sunday morning at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, in Spain and 19th during Race 2 Sunday afternoon.

More from a press release issued by Révész Racing:

A Very Tough Weekend for Rossi Attila Moor and Team Cardoso in Barcelona.

It was one of the most challenging weekends of the season for Rossi Attila Moor in the penultimate FIM JuniorGP Moto2 round. From Thursday’s opening practice, Rossi Attila Moor, the Hungarian/American rider of the Revesz Racing Team Cardoso, battled severe chattering and pronounced understeer on corner exit, limiting his ability to get back on the throttle.

The Team Cardoso crew worked relentlessly through qualifying. Saturday morning’s Practice pointed in the right direction—nearly six-tenths gained—but not enough for direct Q2 access. In Q1, further tweaks still fell short: with 1:44.913 Rossi missed Q2 by just 0.48, lining up 22nd on the grid.

A technical debrief on Saturday night led to bold, wide-ranging changes for Race 1— necessary to claw back over one and a half seconds, albeit risky without prior testing. The call partially paid off: in Race 1 Rossi gained four places to finish 18th, setting a 1:45.442 best lap and, crucially, improving his feeling.

Between Race 1 and Race 2, the box fine-tuned the package again: in Race 2 Rossi lowered his personal best to 1:44.987, finishing 19th. The outright race benchmark was 1:43.905—a snapshot of an ultra-tight field with 20 riders covered by 0.9s and Rossi only 0.6s off the top-10.

To consolidate progress ahead of the finale, the team has scheduled two days of testing at Circuito de Sevilla, targeting a more competitive set-up for Valencia. The mission is clear: convert these steps forward into a strong result for Rossi Attila Moor, the Hungarian/American rider of the Revesz Racing Team Cardoso.

Rossi Attila Moor: “It was a very tough weekend. I want to thank Team Cardoso and my entire staff for their effort to give me a competitive bike. We made progress, but not yet enough to run where we belong. Now I’ll focus on the two test days in Seville—I know exactly what I want to try— and aim to arrive in Valencia ready to close the championship with an extremely positive result. I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Tibor Erika Varga, who yesterday in Barcelona won the first race in the Stock class and moved into the lead of the overall standings. Bravo, Tibor.”

Bison Opens Contingency Applications For Racing Organizations Nationwide

Bison Announces New Racing Contingency Program to Support Organizations and Riders Nationwide.

Bison is proud to announce the launch of its newly expanded Racing Contingency Program, designed to reward racers and support organizations nationwide with Bison Bucks awards. The program reflects Bison’s ongoing commitment to grassroots racing by partnering with established and emerging organizations, ensuring both broad exposure and meaningful rewards for riders.

  • Program Details

Racing organizations are invited to apply for acceptance into the program. Accepted organizations may select two race classes per season where Bison Contingency will be offered. These classes will be supported at every round throughout the season. Bison encourages the use of the contingency program not only to reward racers in well-attended classes, but also to help attract racers to classes that organizations are seeking to expand.

  • Eligibility

All racers competing in the designated contingency classes are eligible to earn Bison Bucks.  There are no requirements for brands worn, decals on bikes, or sponsor listings.  Awards are structured as follows:

  • 1st Place: $100

  • 2nd Place: $50

  • 3rd Place: $25

Racers must complete a once-per-season contingency form, providing contact information for inclusion in Bison’s rider database. Rider information will be used exclusively by Bison to improve products and programs and will never be sold to outside organizations.

  • Organization Requirements

Participating organizations must hang a banner that Bison provides, in a prominent location at each event, and submit contingency race results to Bison within two weeks of each event’s conclusion to ensure timely award distribution.

  • Commitment to Racing

“Bison is thrilled to continue our investment in the future of motorcycle racing through this contingency program,” said Robert Lackey at Bison. “This initiative not only rewards the athletes who push the limits on track, but also strengthens our partnerships with the organizations that keep grassroots racing thriving.”

MotoGP: Bulega Will Replace Márquez In Portugal & Valencia

  • Nicolò will replace Marc Márquez for the final two rounds of the 2025 MotoGP season. The World SBK runner-up – who tested the Desmosedici GP in a test at Jerez de la Frontera – will make his Premier Class debut on the Desmosedici GP.

At the Portuguese GP, scheduled the next week in Portimao (November 7-9), Nicolò Bulega will make his MotoGP debut with the Ducati Lenovo Team. The Aruba.it-Racing Ducati rider, 2023 Supersport World Champion, 2024/25 production-based championship runner-up, and MotoGP test rider for the Borgo Panigale factory, will replace Marc Márquez for the final two rounds of the season.

In Portimao, Nicolò, who tested the Desmosedici GP for the first time yesterday at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, will crown the milestone of his 100th race in the World Championship (50 races in Moto3 and 49 races in Moto2) with this important achievement.

Nicolò Bulega (Ducati Lenovo Team #11):

“I’m very happy to be able to end a season like this one with a last-minute surprise. Making the MotoGP debut is the dream of any kid who aspires to become a rider. Plus, being able to ride the World Champion bike for the final two race of the 2025 makes everything even more exciting. It’ll be a big gamble; I have no expectations. I’ll take this experience calmly, especially because, so far, I’ve only been able to test the Desmosedici GP at Jerez. That said, I’m certainly motivated to do well and give my all. Thanks to Ducati and Ducati Corse for their trust, to Claudio, Gigi, Mauro, Davide, Stefano, and Serafino for making me feel their full support and to Team Aruba.it Racing, with whom we finished a season as protagonists”.

Luigi Dall’Igna (General Manager of Ducati Corse):

“I’m very happy to see Nicolò working on the Desmosedici GP. Nicolò has been part of the Ducati Corse family since 2022, when we wanted him to ride the Supersport bike. We believed in him, and he repaid us with two seasons as an absolute protagonist in Superbike, where he came close to the title and became our reference point as a rider. Furthermore, for next year we announced his commitment, together with Michele Pirro, in the developing the Desmosedici GP with new tires, and the opportunity to race in the final two GPs is the best way to begin working in this new role as a test rider. It will certainly be demanding, but I hope he’ll be able to enjoy this experience: for a young rider, making the debut in the top category of our sport is a great satisfaction”.

Nicolò Bulega

Born in 1999 in Montecchio Emilia, Nicolò began racing in the early 2000s. In 2011, he was the Italian and European MiniGP Junior 50 champion. In 2012, he became PreGP 125 champion, and the following year, he won the PreGP 250 championship. In 2014, he took part in the Spanish championship, where he triumphed the following year. He made his Moto3 World Championship debut in 2015, as a wildcard. In 2016, he raced in Moto3: as a rookie, he achieved a pole position and two podiums. In 2019, he moved to Moto2, a category in which he will compete until the end of 2021.

In 2022, he left the MotoGP paddock to join Ducati. He competed in the Supersport World Championship with Team Aruba bringing the Panigale to the podium. The 2023 was a year to remember: he was the Supersport World Champion with ten pole positions and sixteen wins. This achievement allowed him to make his Superbike debut in 2024: as a rookie, he finished second overall a solid result that he repeated in 2025.

AMA: Bodie Paige Wins Road Race Horizon Award

AMA Congratulates Nicky Hayden AMA Road Race Horizon Award Champion Bodie Paige

Paige becomes the second racer in history to win two Nicky Hayden AMA Horizon Awards in one year

PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Bodie Paige made history during the 2025 AMA Road Race Grand Championship (held in conjunction with the ASRA Race of Champions), becoming just the second rider to obtain two Nicky Hayden AMA Horizon Awards in one year.

Paige won the Nicky Hayden AMA Flat Track Horizon Award in July, and with an outstanding performance at the AMA Road Race Grand Championship in Daytona Beach, Fla., added the Nicky Hayden AMA Road Race Horizon Award on Oct. 19. The Australian-born rider joins Dallas Daniels as the only riders to win two Horizon Awards in one year.

“Bodie Paige is a terrific kid, and truly exemplifies what it means to be a professional in regard to his work ethic, demeanor and character,” AMA Track Racing Manager Ken Saillant said. “Winning two Nicky Hayden AMA Horizon Awards in one year is an incredibly rare feat, and it speaks to Bodie’s skill as a racer and disposition as an up-and-coming professional.”

Bodie Paige in winner’s circle at Daytona, with the AMA Horizon Award trophy.

In 2017, the AMA Board of Directors honored Nicky Hayden’s memory by naming the AMA Horizon Awards in Hayden’s honor. The annual Nicky Hayden AMA Horizon Awards recognize the amateur racers who show the most promise for immediate success in the pro ranks; they are presented in the disciplines of flat track, road racing and motocross.

Although a phenomenal racer with a wide range of accolades across various racing disciplines, Hayden was much more than that. Hayden exemplified the necessary determination, civility, grit and kindness that made him an outstanding professional racer. The racer who earns the Nicky Hayden AMA Horizon Award best represents those qualities, in addition to being outstanding in their racing discipline.

While Paige enjoyed another historic weekend in Daytona Beach, a pair of other competitors also earned special honors.

Thanks to a victory in the 500 Amateur class, Oren Bilik of Staten Island, N.Y., earned the AMA Amateur Road Racer of the Year Award.

Taking home the AMA Vet/Sr. Road Racer of the Year Award was Antal Halasz of College Point, N.Y., who has claimed the award in each of the last three years. Halasz won the Vet 40 1000 Expert class en route to this honor.

Bridgestone Launches Battlax Racing Street RS12

Incorporating Racing Tire Technology to Deliver Superior Dry Grip Performance.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone Corporation (Bridgestone) today announced that it will launch the premium sports motorcycle tire BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 in January 2026 for North American markets. Under the concept of ‘From Circuit to Street,’ by incorporating race tire technology, BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 delivers the highest level of dry grip performance in the road-legal tire lineup of BATTLAX.

Key Technologies Featured in the BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12

1. Compound

Equipped with a compound engineered from technologies advanced through racing tire development.

2. New Tread Pattern

Newly designed pattern with an optimized groove ratio delivers superior grip performance (1) through enhanced tire rigidity and an increased contact area during cornering (2).

3. New Structure

For the front tire, the HE-MS BELT structure, proven in the world’s top-level motorcycle races, has been adopted for the first time in a commercial BATTLAX tire. This flexible belt equalizes contact pressure to further enhance grip.

Incorporating technologies proven through continued success in motorcycle endurance races, BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 delivers comprehensive improvements in circuit performance, with a particular emphasis on dry grip (3). Lap times are reduced significantly compared to the previous model, BATTLAX RACING STREET RS113. In addition, by optimizing the combination of its compound, tread pattern design and structure, the tire maintains high grip performance even after multiple laps3. As a result, it provides riders with peace of mind and enjoyment across a wide range of riding conditions—from sporty riding on dry roads to winding roads and circuit tracks.

Bridgestone is committed to supporting the development of a safe and enjoyable motorcycling culture, offering peace of mind by advancing a global premium niche strategy utilizing Dan-Totsu products (4) like its BATTLAX brand premium motorcycle tires. Through these efforts, the Company strives to achieve the corporate commitment of ‘Emotion: Committed to inspiring excitement and spreading joy to the world of mobility’ described in the ‘Bridgestone E8 Commitment’(5).

(1) Comparison based on Bridgestone BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 tire vs. the Dunlop Sportmax Q5 tire in sizes 120/70ZR17M/C and 200/55ZR17M/C. Results may vary depending on proper tire and bike maintenance, surface conditions and riding habits.

(2) Comparison based on internal testing of the Bridgestone BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 tire vs. the Bridgestone BATTLAX RACING STREET RS11 tire at 50 degrees lean angle. Results may vary depending on proper tire and bike maintenance, surface conditions and riding habits.

(3) Comparison based on internal testing of the pre-production Bridgestone BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 tire vs. the Bridgestone BATTLAX RACING STREET RS11 tire. Results may vary depending on proper tire and bike maintenance, surface conditions and riding habits.

(4) ‘Dan-Totsu’ refers to Bridgestone’s direction to be the clear and absolute leader.

(5) The Bridgestone Group established its corporate commitment, the ‘Bridgestone E8 Commitment’, to help it realize its vision: ‘Toward 2050, Bridgestone continues to provide social value and customer value as a sustainable solutions company’. This commitment will serve as the Group’s axis to drive management while earning the trust of future generations. The ‘Bridgestone E8 Commitment’ consists of eight uniquely Bridgestone values starting with the letter ‘E’ (Energy, Ecology, Efficiency, Extension, Economy, Emotion, Ease, and Empowerment) that the Group will commit to creating through distinctly Bridgestone purposes and processes, together with employees, society, partners, and customers to help realize a sustainable society.

  • Apply Now

Organizations interested in applying for the Bison Racing Contingency Program can learn more and submit their application at https://wkf.ms/3WPBZhU, or contact Mathilde Gasnier at [email protected] with any questions.
