Road America’s challenging four-mile, 14-turn track has become a favorite among riders and fans alike, known for its high speeds, dramatic elevation changes, and beautiful scenery.

The multi-year agreement ensures that MotoAmerica will remain a staple at Road America, with the series set to host its annual event at the circuit for years to come. Jayden Fernandez topped MotoAmerica Junior Cup practice Friday morning at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Riding his Fernandez Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400, Fernandez covered the 14-turn, 4.0-mile course in 2:41.320 to lead the field of 22 riders.

Defending Champion Avery Dreher was second-best with a 2:42.819 on his Bad Boys Racing Kawasaki. 

Emerging star Matthew Chapin posted a third-quickest 2:43.313 on his BARTCON Racing Ninja 400.

Mikayla Moore dominated MotoAmerica Royal Enfield Build. Train. Race. (BTR) practice Friday morning at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Riding a race-kitted Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 on Dunlop control tires, the defending Champion lapped the 4.0-mile course in 2:55.749, which was over six seconds quicker than anyone else in the 13-rider field.

MotoGP: Bagnaia Best In Practice Friday Afternoon At Mugello

Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia posted the best lap time during MotoGP World Championship practice Friday afternoon at Mugello, in Italy. Riding his Lenovo Ducati Desmosedici on Michelin control tires, the two-time and defending World Champion did a 1:44.938 around the 3.2-mile (5.2 km) course to lead the field of 24 riders.

Backing up his Monster Energy Yamaha teammate Fabio Quartararo’s performance in the opening practice, Alex Rins was second Friday afternoon with a time of 1:45.211 on his improved YZR-M1.

Rookie sensation Pedro Acosta was third with a 1:45.326 on his Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 machine.

Miguel Oliveira made it four different brands in the top four spots with a 1:45.340 on his Trackhouse Racing Aprilia RS-GP.

Marc Marquez rounded out the top five with a time of 1:45.345 on his Gresini Racing Ducati.

The top 17 riders Friday afternoon were covered by just 0.860 second.

World Endurance: Suzuki CN Challenge Suzuka 8-Hours Riders Announced

Suzuki Announces Participation Structure for Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race

Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced the participation structure for Team Suzuki CN Challenge, which will compete in the 45th 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship “Coca-Cola” Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race to be held at Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture from Friday, July 19th to Sunday, July 21st.

This time, Suzuki will be using sustainable items such as sustainable fuel * , tires, and oil, and will be competing in the “Experimental Class” with a team composed mainly of members selected within Suzuki.

The riders will be Etienne Masson, a current Yoshimura SERT Motul rider who contributed to the victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans held from April 18th to 21st; Sodo Hamahara, who competed in the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race in 2017 with the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team; and Hideyuki Ogata, who has many years of racing experience with the GSX-R and has also led his own team to compete in the Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race.

Suzuki will use the valuable data gained from this participation to set higher goals and promote technological feedback for future products.

Somkiat Chantra was fastest during FIM Moto2 World Championship practice Friday afternoon at Mugello, in Italy. On board his IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia Kalex, the Thai rider covered the 3.2-mile (5.2 km) course in 1:50.841 to lead the field of 31 riders.

American Joe Roberts was second-best with a time of 1:50.852 on his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex, and Fermin Aldeguer was third with a lap of 1:50.916 on his MP Conveyors SpeedUp Boscoscuro.

The top 19 riders in the session were within one second of the fastest lap time.

Moto3: Alonso Lowers Lap Record At Mugello

David Alonso continued his strong run of form during FIM Moto3 World Championship practice Friday afternoon at Mugello, in Italy. On board his Valresa Aspar Team CFMOTO and using Pirelli control tires, the young Colombian carved up the 3.2-mile (5.2 km) circuit in 1:54.671, shattering the All-Time Lap Record of 1:55.818 he set Friday morning.

MotoGP: Vinales Quickest Friday Morning At Mugello

Maverick Vinales was quickest during FIM MotoGP World Championship practice Friday morning at Mugello, in Italy. Riding his factory Aprilia RS-GP on Michelin control tires, the Spanish star lapped the 3.2-mile (5.2 km) track in 1:46.140 to lead the field of 24 riders.

Armed with data from a recent private test at the track, Fabio Quartararo recorded the second-best lap time in the session, a 1:46.328 on his Monster Energy Yamaha YZR-M1.

Franco Morbidelli was third overall and the top Ducati rider with a 1:46.428 on his Prima Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici.

Rookie sensation Pedro Acosta finished fourth with a 1:46.459 in spite of crashing his Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 machine late in the session.

Morbidelli’s teammate Jorge Martin, the current World Championship point leader, rounded out the top five with a 1:46.587.

The top 15 riders in the practice were separated by less than one second.

Fermin Aldeguer led FIM Moto2 World Championship practice Friday morning at Mugello, in Italy. On board his MB Conveyors SpeedUp Boscoscuro machine fitted with Pirelli control tires, the Spaniard navigated the undulating 3.2-mile (5.2 km) course in 1:51.311 to lead the field of 31 riders.

American Joe Roberts was 13th in the practice with a lap of 1:52.332 on his OnlyFans American Racing Team Kalex.

Moto3: Alonso Breaks Record In Opening Practice At Mugello

David Alonso led FIM Moto3 World Championship practice Friday morning at Mugello, in Italy. Riding his Valresa Aspar Team CFMOTO on Pirelli control tires, the young Colombian lapped the 3.2-mile (5.2 km) circuit in 1:55.818. Not only was that fast enough to lead the field of 26 riders, it was also fast enough to break Tatsuki Suzuki’s All-Time Lap Record of 1:56.001, which he set in 2021.
