TRACKHOUSE RACING WELCOMES AI OGURA TO THE HOUSE
Trackhouse Racing MotoGP Team has reached agreement with Ai Ogura to race for the team in the 2025 and 2026 MotoGP World Championship seasons.
America’s only team in the premier class of motorcycle racing is excited by the prospect of bringing a young fresh talent to the team with Ai Ogura lining up alongside its current rider, #25 Raul Fernandez, who re-signed a contract with Trackhouse Racing to continue for 2025 and 2026 and both will race on current factory specification Trackhouse Aprilia RS-GP bikes.
Ai Ogura is 23 years old and calls Kiyose, Japan, home. His progression through the junior series of motorcycle racing’s ladder has been consistently strong and right now, sees him challenging for the Moto2 World Championship, currently 2nd place in the standings with two wins so far this season.
Ai’s promise, through his career to date and especially the progress he has made with his riding this season, in the MT Helmets MSI Moto2 team, made him a standout rider for the future to Team Principal, Davide Brivio and Team Owner, Justin Marks. The move to sign Ai to the team follows Justin’s ambition to make Trackhouse a destination for rising talent and create the opportunity for success on the racetrack. Together with current rider, Raul Fernandez, Trackhouse Racing will run two young, ambitious, talents on the same Aprilia RS-GP motorcycles as the Aprilia Racing team – ensuring that there are four identical bikes from the Noale factory challenging for the MotoGP World Championship in the coming two seasons.
Ai’s home country, Japan, has a rich motorsport history and his path to a seat in the Trackhouse MotoGP Team is a story of starting out, like many of the young Japanese riders, on pocket-bikes and then mini-bikes before graduating to full road racing equipment. In Ai’s case, the first rung of the MotoGP ladder was the Asia Talent Cup where he made his debut in 2015 – taking a victory in that first season. Having secured 2nd place in the Asia Talent Cup in 2016, Ai moved to Europe in 2017 and competed for two seasons in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship. In 2018, he also debuted in the full Moto3 World Championship and completed two full seasons in the category, finishing 3rd overall in 2020. Moving to the last graduation step ahead of the premier class, Ai joined the Moto2 class in 2021, had a shot at winning the Championship in 2022 and is currently showing strong pace in 2024.
Trackhouse Racing MotoGP Team is looking forward to starting work with Ai, after the conclusion of this season and helping him develop as he embarks on his entry into the MotoGP class from 2025.

Riding his KWR Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 on Dunlop control tires on the recently repaved 2.4-mile road course, Schultz turned a lap time of 1:34.048 to lead the field of 36 entries.
Dominic Doyle was second-best with a 1:34.359 on his Giaccmoto Yamaha MT-09.
KTM Development Team’s Chris Fillmore was third in the session with a 1:34.667 on what’s believed to be a 990 Duke.
Travis Wyman was fourth with a 1:35.115 on his Saddlemen Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.
And reigning Australian Superbike Champion Troy Herfoss completed the top five with a 1:35.389 on his S&S Indian FTR.

Hendry and Yee secure victories at Round Six High Plains Raceway
Byers, CO – The sixth round of the 2024 MRA Championship Series took place at High Plains Raceway over the weekend of August 10-11 on the 2.55 mile Full Course configuration.
Race of the Rockies Qualifying on Sunday took place under ideal conditions, with temperatures hovering around a comfortable 70 degrees throughout the morning. Brad Hendry secured pole position with an impressive best time of 1:47.747, followed closely by Gage Mollman at 1:48.493 and Kreece Elliott at 1:48.676.
The Start of Race of the Rockies GTO saw Hendry get the holeshot going into Turn One, followed closely by Elliott and Mollman. Hendry laid down an impressive first lap, gapping Elliott and Mollman by 0.6 second. Elliott, not wanting Hendry to break away, got his head down and narrowed the gap to just 0.1 second by the end of Lap Two. Elliott stayed right on Hendry’s tail for the next two laps but never got a clean opportunity to attack for the lead. On Lap Five, Hendry found his rhythm and started clicking off lap times in the low 1:48’s which opened up his lead on Elliott by half a second. Hendry stayed consistent and pulled a few tenths out of Elliott every lap for the remainder of the race, ultimately taking the win by seven seconds. Elliot took second place followed by Mollman in third. With only one round left in the 2024 MRA season, Hendry has the RoR Championship comfortably in the bag as long as he can finish the final round in 18th position or better.
In Race of the Rockies GTU, Justen Behmer, Ken Yee, and Dennis Stowers all got off the line with great starts. Dennis jumped out ahead of Yee, allowing Behmer to take the holeshot going into Turn One. On Lap Two Yee made a move on Stowers going into Turn Eight to take over second position. By this point, Behmer had a three-second lead on Yee and was clicking off impressive lap times in the 1:52’s. Yee got his head down and started chipping away at Behmer’s lead. By Lap Eight, Yee had caught Behmer and was right on his rear tire. Dennis Stowers was running strong in third, but unfortunately had to retire on the eighth lap due to tire troubles. Yee stayed right on Behmer for the next few laps and ultimately made a move on the final lap going into Turn Five to take over the lead. Behmer stayed glued to Yee and tried to make a move going into Turn 13 but was unsuccessful. Yee claimed the win followed by Behmer in second and Salvatore Rizzo in third. Behmer leads the RoR GTU Championship with a 40-point lead over Yee heading into the final round.
Next up, the MRA heads back to High Plains Raceway in Byers, CO for Round Eight (double points weekend) on September 28-29th for a full weekend of racing including the SuperStreet event on Saturday afternoon. The good, the very good, and the downright ugly—Trevor Daley puts on a show at Canadian Superbike’s most anticipated round

In Trevor’s only other Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship appearance this season, back in June at Grand Bend Motorplex, he won both pro sport bike and Superbike races on a Sunday to remember. Armed with solid data and with the guidance of tuner Jon Cornwell and Australian electronics engineer Jake Skate, Trevor believed he’d taken a step to be even more competitive at his next scheduled appearance, this past weekend’s races at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Trevor’s weekend at CTMP started out well, with pole position (his first!) in sport bike and front row start in superbike. But in Saturday’s sport bike race, a fistful of throttle meant Trevor and his GSX-R750 parted ways resulting in a DNF. Later that afternoon, with a left hand that looked like a balloon about to burst, Trevor gutted out the Superbike race to a ninth-place finish. Alas, it appeared the magic that happened back in Grand Bend was not going to be repeated—or so it seemed.
On Sunday morning Trevor squeezed his swollen left paw into a glove, and, proving he’s at his best when the weather is at its worst, won a wet pro sport race. But the best was yet to come. Lining up for the superbike race on a wet but drying track against the best riders in the country, Trevor, with his hand-and-ahalf, launched hard off the line and into the lead. Despite being stalked by defending series champ Ben Young in the late going, Trevor brought his GSXR1000 home for the win on a set of Bridgestone rain tires ground down to such a degree that they resembled slicks. In achieving his second two-win race day this summer, Trevor entered the record books as the only rider in CSBK history to have done the double twice in a single season.
Winning is special. For any rider. At any level. But winning a pro superbike race at Mosport, as CTMP was long known, is a feat reserved for a rare few. Trevor would like to share this victory with those who have supported him in racing and in life. And despite post-event X-rays that showed a pair of broken bones in his hand (he’s on a first-name basis with the X-ray team at his local hospital) he’ll be at CSBK’s season finale at Shannonville August 30th to September 1st. We love to see you there.

The move to sign Ai to the team follows Justin’s ambition to make Trackhouse a destination for rising talent and create the opportunity for success on the racetrack. Together with current rider, Raul Fernandez, Trackhouse Racing will run two young, ambitious, talents on the same Aprilia RS-GP motorcycles as the Aprilia Racing team – ensuring that there are four identical bikes from the Noale factory challenging for the MotoGP World Championship in the coming two seasons.
Ai’s home country, Japan, has a rich motorsport history and his path to a seat in the Trackhouse MotoGP Team is a story of starting out, like many of the young Japanese riders, on pocket-bikes and then mini-bikes before graduating to full road racing equipment. In Ai’s case, the first rung of the MotoGP ladder was the Asia Talent Cup where he made his debut in 2015 – taking a victory in that first season. Having secured 2nd place in the Asia Talent Cup in 2016, Ai moved to Europe in 2017 and competed for two seasons in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship. In 2018, he also debuted in the full Moto3 World Championship and completed two full seasons in the category, finishing 3rd overall in 2020. Moving to the last graduation step ahead of the premier class, Ai joined the Moto2 class in 2021, had a shot at winning the Championship in 2022 and is currently showing strong pace in 2024.
Trackhouse Racing MotoGP Team is looking forward to starting work with Ai, after the conclusion of this season and helping him develop as he embarks on his entry into the MotoGP class from 2025.

Miguel has started 94 premier class Grand Prix races to date and taken 5 wins since his MotoGP debut in 2019. With 10 Rounds left in the 2024 MotoGP World Championship season, Trackhouse Racing will maintain its full commitment and focus on giving him the best possible opportunity to add to his tally of Grand Prix victories until the final checkered flag in Valencia – on Sunday, November 17th and then, will wish him well for his future.

Hayden Schultz was quickest during MotoAmerica RSD Mission Super Hooligan test session one Thursday morning at Mid-Ohio Sports Course, in Lexington, Ohio. Riding his KWR Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 on Dunlop control tires on the recently repaved 2.4-mile road course, Schultz turned a lap time of 1:34.048 to lead the field of 36 entries.
Dominic Doyle was second-best with a 1:34.359 on his Giaccmoto Yamaha MT-09.
KTM Development Team’s Chris Fillmore was third in the session with a 1:34.667 on what’s believed to be a 990 Duke.
Travis Wyman was fourth with a 1:35.115 on his Saddlemen Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.
And reigning Australian Superbike Champion Troy Herfoss completed the top five with a 1:35.389 on his S&S Indian FTR.

Hendry and Yee secure victories at Round Six High Plains Raceway
Byers, CO – The sixth round of the 2024 MRA Championship Series took place at High Plains Raceway over the weekend of August 10-11 on the 2.55 mile Full Course configuration.
Race of the Rockies Qualifying on Sunday took place under ideal conditions, with temperatures hovering around a comfortable 70 degrees throughout the morning. Brad Hendry secured pole position with an impressive best time of 1:47.747, followed closely by Gage Mollman at 1:48.493 and Kreece Elliott at 1:48.676.
The Start of Race of the Rockies GTO saw Hendry get the holeshot going into Turn One, followed closely by Elliott and Mollman. Hendry laid down an impressive first lap, gapping Elliott and Mollman by 0.6 second. Elliott, not wanting Hendry to break away, got his head down and narrowed the gap to just 0.1 second by the end of Lap Two. Elliott stayed right on Hendry’s tail for the next two laps but never got a clean opportunity to attack for the lead. On Lap Five, Hendry found his rhythm and started clicking off lap times in the low 1:48’s which opened up his lead on Elliott by half a second. Hendry stayed consistent and pulled a few tenths out of Elliott every lap for the remainder of the race, ultimately taking the win by seven seconds. Elliot took second place followed by Mollman in third. With only one round left in the 2024 MRA season, Hendry has the RoR Championship comfortably in the bag as long as he can finish the final round in 18th position or better.
In Race of the Rockies GTU, Justen Behmer, Ken Yee, and Dennis Stowers all got off the line with great starts. Dennis jumped out ahead of Yee, allowing Behmer to take the holeshot going into Turn One. On Lap Two Yee made a move on Stowers going into Turn Eight to take over second position. By this point, Behmer had a three-second lead on Yee and was clicking off impressive lap times in the 1:52’s. Yee got his head down and started chipping away at Behmer’s lead. By Lap Eight, Yee had caught Behmer and was right on his rear tire. Dennis Stowers was running strong in third, but unfortunately had to retire on the eighth lap due to tire troubles. Yee stayed right on Behmer for the next few laps and ultimately made a move on the final lap going into Turn Five to take over the lead. Behmer stayed glued to Yee and tried to make a move going into Turn 13 but was unsuccessful. Yee claimed the win followed by Behmer in second and Salvatore Rizzo in third. Behmer leads the RoR GTU Championship with a 40-point lead over Yee heading into the final round.
Next up, the MRA heads back to High Plains Raceway in Byers, CO for Round Eight (double points weekend) on September 28-29th for a full weekend of racing including the SuperStreet event on Saturday afternoon. The good, the very good, and the downright ugly—Trevor Daley puts on a show at Canadian Superbike’s most anticipated round

In Trevor’s only other Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship appearance this season, back in June at Grand Bend Motorplex, he won both pro sport bike and Superbike races on a Sunday to remember. Armed with solid data and with the guidance of tuner Jon Cornwell and Australian electronics engineer Jake Skate, Trevor believed he’d taken a step to be even more competitive at his next scheduled appearance, this past weekend’s races at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Trevor’s weekend at CTMP started out well, with pole position (his first!) in sport bike and front row start in superbike. But in Saturday’s sport bike race, a fistful of throttle meant Trevor and his GSX-R750 parted ways resulting in a DNF. Later that afternoon, with a left hand that looked like a balloon about to burst, Trevor gutted out the Superbike race to a ninth-place finish. Alas, it appeared the magic that happened back in Grand Bend was not going to be repeated—or so it seemed.
On Sunday morning Trevor squeezed his swollen left paw into a glove, and, proving he’s at his best when the weather is at its worst, won a wet pro sport race. But the best was yet to come. Lining up for the superbike race on a wet but drying track against the best riders in the country, Trevor, with his hand-and-ahalf, launched hard off the line and into the lead. Despite being stalked by defending series champ Ben Young in the late going, Trevor brought his GSXR1000 home for the win on a set of Bridgestone rain tires ground down to such a degree that they resembled slicks. In achieving his second two-win race day this summer, Trevor entered the record books as the only rider in CSBK history to have done the double twice in a single season.
Winning is special. For any rider. At any level. But winning a pro superbike race at Mosport, as CTMP was long known, is a feat reserved for a rare few. Trevor would like to share this victory with those who have supported him in racing and in life. And despite post-event X-rays that showed a pair of broken bones in his hand (he’s on a first-name basis with the X-ray team at his local hospital) he’ll be at CSBK’s season finale at Shannonville August 30th to September 1st. We love to see you there.
