With the North American debut of their all-new 2014 model lineup at the Long Beach Motorcycle Show, Zero Motorcycles will feature the Zero S, an industry leader with a 171 miles range on a single charge with a top speed of 95 mph with the new Z-Force® Power Tank accessory. Media and consumers alike will be able to view the new motorcycles, including the 2014 Zero DS, Zero FX, Zero Police Bikes, and the all-new and much anticipated Zero SR, Dec. 6-8, 2013, at the Long Beach Convention Center. “Zero’s North American debut at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach is the ideal platform to continue the launch of our innovative all-new 2014 models,” said Scot Harden, Vice President of Global Marketing for Zero Motorcycles. “With the improved technology not to mention the all-new accessory options and exciting addition of the Zero SR, we expect consumers and media alike to be thrilled with our new 2014 model bikes. We invite everyone to stop by and see the line and better yet sign up to take a demo ride at their local dealer following the event.” Zero Motorcycles will be hosting its first North American press conference to announce and showcase the 2014 bikes to attending media, after launching the bikes at the 2013 EICMA International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan, Italy earlier this fall. The all-new 2014 model line features a new Z-Force® Power Tank accessory that allows riders to travel up to 171 miles in the city or 88 miles on the highway. Providing customers with the unique ability to increase energy storage capacity during or after purchase, the Power Tank can be added to any 2014 Zero S or Zero DS model. Also being showcased is the new “R” configuration of Zero’s S model that offers riders 56% higher torque and 24% more power. Available in a new deep red color, the Zero SR offers riders 106 ft-lbs of torque through a wide power band and does 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds using Zero’s highly efficient direct drive system. The entire 2014 lineup includes improved suspension, well-integrated new design elements and a sleek new dash. In addition to the Zero S, DS, FX and SR, Zero will also be featuring the new 2014 Police Bike model. The 2014 police and security motorcycles are built off the platforms of the all-new 2014 Zero S and Zero DS. Both motorcycles have incredible range and performance and offer a wide array of options that allow governments, companies and organizations to specifically customize the motorcycles they purchase to best suit their needs. Using the new Z-Force® Power Tank aftermarket accessory, agencies have the option to increase the capacity of their overall power pack by an additional 2.8 kWh to a total of 14.2 kWh. Both motorcycles deliver instant acceleration that is both impressive and, without ever needing to shift, incredibly smooth. Law enforcement agencies continue to be one of Zero’s fastest growing segments and Zero will be meeting with interested agencies onsite during the Tour to provide additional information. Zero Motorcycles will also be attending five additional shows along the Tour, including New York City, Dec. 13-15, 2013, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center; Washington, D.C., Jan. 10-12, 2014, at the Washington Convention Center; Phoenix, AZ, Jan 24-26, 2014 at University of Phoenix Stadium; Chicago, Feb. 7-9, 2014, at the Donald E.
