Damian Jigalov prepares for MotoAmerica Utah Round Debut with 5 WERA Wins at Barber

Wednesday, July 4th, 2018

Having just celebrated his fourteenth birthday, Damian Jigalov made a shakedown run on the recently built MotoAmerica spec BIOTHERMAL Yamaha R3.

This past weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, WERA Roadracing held its Sportsman Series. Damian entered three classes on Saturday: E Superstock, Clubman and D Superstock – and 2 classes on Sunday: ESS and Clubman, winning all 5 Races.

Damian was able to set consistent fast times on his BIOTHERMAL Yamaha R3 along with several fastest laps of 1.40.2’s. He finished all 5 races with a large gap back to second place.

He left Barber Motorsports Park this weekend with lots confidence, knowing that he will have good pace with the fast riders in MotoAmerica.

If you haven’t met Jigalov yet, then be sure to say hello to this youngster in Utah on July 22-23 when he makes his MotoAmerica debut, planning to race in MotoAmerica’s Junior Cup and at Utah Motorsports Campus – a step up that he has prepared long and hard for with constant training, focus and dedication.
