ROSAMOND, CALIFORNIA Richard Barnett, a Willow Springs Motorcycle Club (WSMC) racer, announces the opening of his new company, RaceBikeRentals.com. The new company will offer 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R race-prepped motorcycles at all WSMC events held at Willow Springs International Raceway. The motorcycles will be available for a per-day fee. Riders can opt to enroll in the Friday WSMC trackday, the Saturday New Racer’s School or participate in the Sunday Ninja Cup race. “I decided to make these great bikes available on a rental basis to help ensure the success of the class and to help provide more machines, to produce a large, exciting grid,” explains Richard Barnett. “It’s not every day that people have an opportunity to rent a Ninja and get into a tight race with other equal machines. New racers can leave their street bike home and use one of our bikes for Friday’s trackday or the New Racer’s School and novice race.” Additionally, racers will have the opportunity to race in the Advanced Kawasaki Ninja Cup, held on the third weekend of each month with WSMC. The race is co-sponsored by RaceBikeRentals.com and features a $500 per race purse, paying through fifth place, along with a $5,000 year-end payout from Kawasaki, Bridgestone contingency money, and a year-end giveaway of a new Kawasaki KLX110 motorcycle by Advanced Kawasaki. All fuel is included in the per-day rental fee of each bike. All bikes are also equipped with Bridgestone BT090 racing tires, a full race exhaust system, and Attack race bodywork. The rentals are open to beginners and advanced racers. Those opting to take the WSMC New Racer’s School & Lightweight Novice racing class will be exposed to all aspects of racing and will gain first-hand experience. They will also get the opportunity to establish a track record and to race with licensed racers. “The new Ninja 250R is the perfect bike for learning how to roadrace and for close, competitive racing,” adds Barnett. “With serious money on the line, look for grids of 25-30 bikes very soon.” About RaceBikeRentals.com RaceBikeRentals.com was started by Richard Barnett, a Willow Springs Motorcycle Club racer. The company will offer 10 identical 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R race bikes at Willow Springs International Raceway.
