Nicolo Bulega, riding his Aruba.it Racing Ducati Panigale V2, won World Supersport Race One Saturday at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Bulega held off Marcel Schroetter and his Reparto Corse MV Agusta F3 RR 800cc triple by 0.626 second to claim his third straight win and fifth of the season, extending his Championship point lead.
Schroetter’s teammate Bahattin Sofuoglu, the nephew of multi-time Supersport World Champion Kenan Sofuoglu, finished third.
