PTR announce the termination of contract with Robin Mulhauser due to multiple breaches of contract.

We wish Robin all the best for the future.

More, from a statement issued in English by Robin Mulhauser via his Facebook page:

Robin Mulhauser, our rider from Fribourg, expelled by his team.

“This isn’t a secret, many riders have to pay to ride and live their passion. As for me, I spent a considerable amount of money to be able to ride a full season. I paid all my debts and do not owe my team any more money, I worked hard to adapt to the bike. I made myself and my professionalism available for them, but it wasn’t enough. As you understood, talent isn’t what’s the most important, money is.

“I just learnt with a simple email that my team manager, Simon Buckmaster, is putting an end to our formal contract, without any reasonable justification. The condition mentioned for me to keep my ride is to give them 20k€ [Euros] to finish the season! Shall I remind you that recently, one of the CIA PTR Team truck has burnt, which caused financial problems to the team.

“First, I am very disappointed to be confronted to these manners, which are no less than financial blackmail. Second, my World Supersport season is ended only a few races before the end, without any consideration for my financial loss.

“But above all, how not to think of my sponsors, who invested in full season and have me their trust! I want to sincerely apologize to them even though I am the first victim of this conspiracy.”
