Brandon Cretu has been officially accepted to race at the prestigious 2010 Isle of Man TT! The TT organizers had the official press launch last Friday on the Isle of Man where they announced the top 20 starters as well as all the newcomers who have been accepted to race at this years event. At this time, Cretu is the only American to be accepted as a Newcomer for this year’s event. To his knowledge he is also the youngest American to ever be accepted to race at the Isle of Man TT. “I saw my name first on the TT’s website in the Newcomers section and I nearly jumped off of my seat! It is truly a dream come true. I am looking forward for the opportunity to represent my country at this prestigious event and help further promote the TT as the best motorcycle race in the world. It is honestly something any motorcycle fan needs to see once in their lifetimes!” This year’s TT is proving to possibly be one of the best in its history. Nearly ever major manufacturer has signed up to be officially involved and show their new machinery. Fans will see the regulars in Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki but for 2010 BMW and KTM have also announced plans put bikes on the grid. Fans from all over the world are certain to get a great show put on for them this year! Cretu will once again ride aboard a bike provided by Mark Hamilton of Irish Bike Magazine for this year’s TT as he did at last year’s Ulster Grand Prix. He leaves for Ireland to meet with Mark prior to heading for the Isle of Man on May 26 and he will be overseas until June 12 for the two-week event. Any companies or persons interested in becoming involved as a sponsor should contact Brandon via his website contact page, www.brandoncreturacing.com . Donations are still greatly needed and being accepted. No amount is too small or too large and will be used solely for the purpose of funding Cretu’s effort at the 2010 TT. Donations can also be made on his website on the donations page, www.brandoncreturacing.com .
