There is something very cool happening at the WERA website (www.wera.com). Seems a bunch of good-natured guys and gals have decided to help Shaun Harris get his bike over from New Zealand to race the Daytona 200. They have put together over $1500, created WERA BBS stickers, and even found him room on pit lane under another racer’s canopy.

A lot of these people are racers themselves and we all know how much extra money they have! I think it is awesome that in this day and age, people from America are willing to give so much to a person from another country. Shaun may be getting a free ride to Daytona, but I believe he owes a bunch of good folks from WERA BBS a few pints!
